Fast Learner (Closed training for Winterpaw)

Amberclaw woke up and early to go do some early training with his apprentice, Snakepaw. "Snakepaw, hoepfully we can get a little more training done this time around." He said poking his head into the apprentice den trying to wake up him up.

Snakepaw got up. He stretched and yawn. "Yes, Amberclaw." he replied.

Amberclaw padded out into the open territory, "First try demonstrate the weight balancing trick I taught you on some prey, do you remember it?" He asked when he had found a nice spot for the two of them.

Snakepaw did remember it. He spotted a bird on the ground, pulling plants from the marsh, consuming the seeds. He crept up a fox length from the creature. He pounced, a bit in the air. He pointed his paws downwards to the bird. He got his paws on it. The prey constantly flapped it's wings, but he kept it down. He unsheathed his claws, then the flapping stopped. He buried the bird in the marsh.
