Battle Training (For Winterpaw)

Palefrost stepped out into the chilly air and waited for her apprentice, strolling around the wintery scene. She planned on teaching Swiftpaw a few simple battle moves at first, then adding some more advanced ones as time wore on. The gray she-cat stared out into the dreary sky, blinking tiredly.

Swiftpaw saw her mentor and walked up to her. "What are we doing today?" she asked.

Jumping at the sound of Swiftpaw's voice, a purr rumbled in Palefrost's throat. "Battle training!" she chirped, all traces of tiredness gone. Padding into the forest, she scanned the territory. "What battle moves have you learned so far?" she asked.

Swiftpaw smiled as she followed her mentor into the territory. She didn't use most of the battle moves. "Only some of the basic moves." she answered.

Palefrost stopped as they reached the training hollow. "Alrighty. Let's see your hunting crouch." she mewed.

Swiftpaw nodded and crouched down. She kept her belly fur barely off the ground. Her tail was straight and still.
