Late Morning Patrol (Open)

Tigerstorm was pregnant, yes, but she hadn't yet told anyone. Not that she needed to; her belly was rather large for the small she-cat. She was denying it to herself, and this morning she was trying to behave as a normal warrior would and prepared herself for a quick patrol before going to sleep. She waited by the camp, sitting uncomfortably. If she noticed, obviously everyone else did. Hopefully they wouldn't question her too much, or worse, make her stay in camp. She wasn't too close to kitting to go out on a simple patrol, or at least she didn't think so. Tigerstorm's tail flicked while she waited for an unsuspecting cat to catch and take on patrol with her.

Maplepaw bounced from the apprentices den "Hello Tigerstorm!" she greeted happily "Are you going on a patrol" she asked.

A lot had been going on recently, and honestly, Mudfoot just wanted to sleep. First he was ordered to injure a cat, and now his apprentice was injured. Was it just him or was StarClan trying to tell him something? Waking up with a jolt after a bad dream, the russet tom looked at the sleeping bodies around him. Guess i'm not going to fall back to sleep... Giving a yawn, he crept out of the den and into the fresh night air. Maybe a patrol would get his mind of things. Padding sluggishly over to Tigerstorm, he noticed the she-cat's belly was somewhat larger than before. "Expecting kits soon?" Mudfoot gave his fur a shake and a smile grew on his face.

Tigerstorm watched the energetic apprentice bounce from the her den and nodded to her. "Yes, I was looking for some company." She looked up at Mudfoot's approach, suddenly embarrassed by his presence. If He heard about too much and then reported it to her father, she could be in a world of trouble. "Um, yes. Not too soon to contribute to the clan, however." She added gracefully at the end, doing her best to seem like a loyal warrior who'd do anything for ShadowClan. "It's always good to have extra experience. Would you mind joining me for a patrol?" Tigerstorm asked the both of them.

Webtail, unlike most, liked the mornings of ShadowClan, the mist that hung over was very nice along with the cool dew on his pelt. He was still reluctant to leave his kits and mate alone with a killer out but, he needed to stay on a high standing in the clan, he hated the idea of slacking. When he spotted his sister he approached, greeting her and the others, Mudfoot and Maplepaw with a friendly mew. His mew was cut short by his suprise in his sister's growing stomach.

Mudfoot knew times were tough right now, and having kits was always an awkward conversation, but he was always glad to see kits running around camp. "Of course. A patrol would get my mind off things." The cheery tom meowed with a smile, giving his long, russet colored fur a good shake.
