The proof [Open]

Jaypaw rolled around on the ground, he stopped and looked at the sky. The sun shone brightly and his mood was better that usual. He kept still, a small butterfly landed on his muzzle, he sneezed and it flew off. Laughing he let the sun hit his face, he went back to rolling, though his pelt didn't get dusty at all. He thought it was pretty weird, he stopped again and headed for the fresh-kill pile.


Picking a robin he padded back to his spot, he shook his pelt and ate slowly. Enjoying his meal he laid down. He was done later on and once again let the sun gleam of his pelt making it feel warm, leaf-bare was finally gone and today was a day to prove that.

"Hello, Jaypaw," purred Silverstone as she padded up to her apprentice. The she-cat's silver fur shimmered in the warm sunlight and her eyes shone a sea of blue. "Enjoying yourself, I see?" She teased with a smile. "What a slacker." She batted the side of his head with her paw to show that she was joking around, before she plucked a finch off of the fresh kill pile and started to eat it beside Jaypaw.

He reconized his mentor scent and smiled with a laugh "You think I'll become a warrior soon?" he asked still laughing a bit.

Silverstone nodded as she took a bite of her meal. "Yeah," she said through a mouthful of finch. "Once I give you your assessment, you'll be ready to go. Speaking of which, I was planning on finding a time to make it." She sighed and took another bite. Skyclan was busy this time of year.

Jaypaw was filled with excitement "Really!" he meowed cheerfully "I'll get to sleep with you once I'm ready to become a warrior!" he added.

"Yay," Silverstone exclaimed happily. "I can't wait! It's going to be so fun! We can make more mischief together once you are a warrior!" She laughed, then batted him with her paw. The she-cat was just about finished her piece of fresh kill, and she giggled as a thought came to her. "Aaaaaand," she started as she nudged the apprentice with her shoulder. "I can give you advice on how to get she-cats to like you. Don't worry, I'll make you into a pro at dating."
