Jaykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowflight called out to his clan "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting."

Jaykit trotted out of the nursery and sat down, his eyes were wide and full of excitement as he watched

Silverstone yawned as she trotted out of the warrior's den, her blue eyes sagging with tiredness. The silver warrior sat down among the group of cats and looked up at the deputy. Silverstone figured that she had to participate in some clan activities, so the least she could do was sit still and watch the ceremony.

"The time has come to make another kit an apprentice." He looked over to Jaykit. "Jaykit please step forward."

Jaykit stepped up, he tingled with excitement

"Jaykit form this day forward you will be known as Jaypaw. Silverstone shall be your mentor." The deputy said, before jumping down ending the ceremony.

Silverstone's bright blue eyes shot up to the deputy as her name was called to be a mentor. She had been given an apprentice? Her? Really? The silver she-cat doubted her own ability to teach Jaypaw as she stood up to touch noses with the new apprentice. Well, she was one to tackle any obstacle in her way, so the warrior would just have to mentor Jaypaw someway or another. "Congrats, dude," Silverstone exclaimed as she pressed her nose against Jaypaw's. "This is going to be a wild apprenticeship, eh?" A mischievous smirk grew on the warrior's face as she realized she now had a new buddy to drag into her messes. With her brother, Blackpaw, dead, Jaypaw was the perfect new sidekick.

Jaypaw smiled and touched his nose with hers "This is going to be new" he murmured
