Stormkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowflight jumped up to the are where the leader stood when they called a meeting. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!"

Mapledrop padded oevr and sat down and looked up at Crowflight.

Nettletail came out to watch the apprentice ceremony.

Snowstorm walked over. She sat down and looked up at Crowflight.

It was time! Stormkit stumbled from the nursery with a grin on her face, doing her best not to trip because of the snow. Her eyes quickly flickered up to Crowflight as the deputy called out to the Clan. Her fur prickled, half from the cold, half from pure excitement She sat down, drawing her tail over her paws as she did her best to look official, but couldn't help but quiver in her place.

"The time has come for another kit to be made an apprentice. Stormkit, plese step forward." The black deputy said.

Stormkit almost giggled from happiness as her name was called. She stood up, taking a quick moment to shake the snow from her paws before taking a few steps forward. She raised her chin up high, her eyes glimmering as she stared up at the deputy. She was ready. Who would be her mentor? Oh, there was so many choices that she would be happy with...But she trusted Crowflight to know best for her.

"Stormkit from this moment forward until you earn your warrior name you will be known as Stormpaw. Your mentor will be Mapledrop." The deputy said.

Mapledrop smiled, and touched noses with her apprentice.
