| Silverpaw stirred awake in her nest, then groomed her fur down a bit as she walked out into the morning air. She found her mentor by the freshkill pile and joined her. The silver apprentice glanced at the small pile of food as she took a bird off of it and started to eat. "You wanted to see me?" | Silverpaw nodded, then crouched down in a fighting stance with her tail lashing out behind her. "Let's not waste a moment, then," she purred casually with a smirk on her face. With a battle cry, Silverpaw charged at her mentor and rammed into Nettletail's side.

IC: Nettletail was only caught by surprise for a moment. Good job, she thought admiringly. She had trained her well. She counterattacked, hoping her apprentice wouldn't get hurt.

| Silverpaw tumbled backwards at her mentor's move and felt too weak to get up for a moment, but she forced herself to. She was a fighter, and fighters never quit fighting. With a big leap, Silverpaw sprung onto Nettletail's back and pinned her down.
