Eaglepaw thought about what Amberpaw said that the clan could be planning something "We might also want to patrol near the twoleg place you never know what is on the paths over there" she meowed

Mudfoot and the apprentices padded into the thick forest in silence. Sniffing the air, he listened to Webpaw and took the young cats idea into consideration. "And do you guys know what clan we are quarreling with at the moment?" He directed his question to Amberpaw. He honestly hated talking about clan problems with the younger cats, but they might as well know. "We should probably go over patrolling techniques too." They kept walking towards the edges of the ShadowClan. "Tell me what you know or what your mentors have taught you." Mudfoot knew Webpaw and Eaglepaw had mentors that didn't necessarily train with them a lot, but they must know something from earlier patrols...right?

Webpaw looked to the side with embarrassment. "Well, Magpiewing hasn't taken me on any patrols before.." He mewed as he looked around the forest. He perked up as he thought. "Would we be near the Thunderpath? I've heard a lot about it."

Eaglepaw nodded "I think we will, it depends" she meowed

Mudfoot padded onward until he reached the Thundpath. Hasn't taken you on any patrols? He would need to have a chat with his father about Webpaw. "You have most likely heard of the thunderpath before. On the other side is ThunderClan, and down father is WindClan." He pointed his head towards WindClan. "It may be hard to smell with the stench of the monsters, but always be careful." After they had gotten a good look at it, he padded away from the path and into the dense forest. Finally able to hear and smell nature, away from the twoleg path, he breathed in the scents around him. "What can you smell. Your nose is a very important part of your body, it's what helps cats hunt. Even a blind or deaf cat could hunt is he had his nose." Mudfoot turned his head to the apprentices.

Webpaw padded alongside his clanmates, listening to the roars of the monster as the drove off. He nodded when he heard about the different borders and he was relieved to have the scents of the forest around him again. Taking in Mudfur's instructions, he opened his mouth to scent the air. Snow, mud, maybe a mouse.. He shook his head as the sour tang of the Thunderpath hit him before resuming.

Eaglepaw had been quiet for a while but when she had been told to smell the air she finally talked "I smell mice and some mud, also I smell a WindClan scent"
