Continuation of January 2016 Gathering [EVERYONE POST]

Webpaw looked at Wildpaw and then his gaze locked with his leader. "Wildpaw is right! If we continue like this, there won't be a ShadowClan, we'll tear our clan apart." He forced his claws to sheath as he continued. "Traitors should not go without punishment of course but, it shouldn't be death; if we do this, we'd be nothing but a clan of murderers, we might as well be a bunch of rouges. If that is what our clan becomes, it is no longer ShadowClan. Thushstar, I am loyal but, I will not follow blindly to my own end, there is a limit to how far loyalty goes." His voice was solemn as he spoke, steady unlike what his heart felt.

Eaglepaw thought about what he was saying and the others, she thought that this was just like kits auguring about something that was not a big deal, and she kept on thinking of what she should say. "Webpaws right and so are the others!" she blurted out.

Viperpaw heard Webpaws's statement about how loyalty only goes to far. How could my own littermate think that loyalty can only go so far! I will follow Thrushstar's orders without hesitation until I die! She thought. She looked at Webpaw, but the only show of her thoughts were a lashing tail and a snarling growl.

"Pathetic. Really. Have you no heart? No pity? Have you no moral code? The warrior code means nothing if you live with a sense of right to wrong. Sadly enough, the warrior code prevents us from knowing true right and wrong. We kill because we are able to- anyone outside the code should die? No one should die. No one deserves to be killed, unless by old age or unhealable health. To kill is to destroy. Redemption is possible, and if not, justice will take as the final, final, consequence. If a cat has killed another, their fate is up to karma, in my opinion. Yes, Starclan may claim your life as they wish, but by murder? I believe Starclan is just as bad as the Dark Forest at that. Think about it. If you have no sense of morality, what sense do you have?!" She hissed quietly, anger spiking. Pathetic! They have no sense! Deadbeats, they all are, which no one look on life. Starclan isn't everything- even I, a medicine cat, know that. Even if we break the code, moral rights give us free will to do the right thing. Starclan has made their decision, but the code has been bended with acceptions before. Can't you all see that? She knew darn right she was betraying something or other, but she had to clear this with herself and others.
She did not dare speak loudly, in fear she'd be banished herself. But she let her thoughts roam, to find the smart cats in her Clan. The others were idiots.

The leader dug his claws across the rock he stood on as his tail lashed around behind him and he stared daggers at Shatteredsoul as the tom spoke. A low growl escaped his throat by the time the warrior finished, and argument broke out among the clan below on morals and the code. But that didn't matter right now. All Thrushstar could see was the one tom-- the one that was ruining everything. The leader should have known. He had suspected Shatteredsoul a little when they were battle training, but now it was clear. However, he wasn't going to go back on his word. This was the one chance he had.

All the extraneous noise was getting too much to bear. The arguing, the shouting... it was screwing up his head until Thrushstar let out a booming caterwaul, bring the camp to silence as he leaped off of the rock, forcefully pushing through the cats below until he came face to face with Shatteredsoul. His blood boiled and his heart pounded in his ears. Hackles raised, he stared the tom down, growls still emitting from his throat. "Get out," He hissed, his voice barely louder than a whisper. "You are a disgrace. Get out!" As he continued to speak, Thrushstar's voice grew louder until he was yelling in Shatteredsoul's face, his claws unsheathed and prepared for the worst.

Fracturedpaw eyes widened as Thrushstar caterwauled. She blinked and Scott ed away quietly. She couldn't believe any of this was even happening. She then blinked when Thrushstar told her older brother to get out. True her loyalties lied with Shadowclan but to see this happen between the leader and her only living closest relative she couldn't think of her brother leaving. She flicked her tail before she slowly decided to speak up though her voice squeaked a bit only because she didn't know what to think about everything at the moment"T..Thrushstar give him another chance true he killed a cat but...he was a rogue.... He wouldn't kill anyone else..."She mewed looking up at the leader

Shatteredsoul didn't break his gaze from Thrushstar as he ignored the mayhem around him and answered. "I guess kin really doesn't matter to you, then. I am your great great grandson, after all." The tom stood up and lashed his tail from side to side in anger. "And you think I'm a disgrace? Look at what you've done to this clan! Everything is chaos because of you! My brother was a rouge and he was on our territory, so I am not in the wrong here! You're kicking out a warrior who did his job? How pathetic! You're the disgrace, Thrushstar! I'm sick of you and this clan! You're no leader, you're a coward!" Shatteredsoul gave a loud growl before continuing. "Fracturedpaw, stay out of this. He wan'ts me gone, then so be it. Don't anyone dare think for a moment that I won't forget this. Watch your backs, flea-bags!" With a hiss, the warrior turned around and strutted toward the camp's exit. Something inside of him told him that he probably wasn't going to leave without a scratch to remember Shadowclan by, but so far so good.

Fracturedpaw blinked her ears laid flat as she watched her older brother leave and she looked down when he had told her to stay out of it. She didn't know what to do. She didn't want to see her brother leave. She remained quiet unable to say or do anything.

Viperpaw watched intently at the scene going down.. Yes! Get rid of the traitors! she thought, as Shatteredsoul walked out of camp. She looked at Facturedpaw, she felt slightly guilty for wanting to get rid of her relative. Its for the good of the clan! she thought assertively.

Shimmerheart blinked, unbelieving. " Great StarClan.... Help Thrushstar," she murmured.

This clan is falling to shambles. Heh, at this rate, all that will be left of Shadowclan is shadows. It's funny, really... They all think being loyal will help them? Thrushstar's probably long passed lost his mind by this rate. But that act on Shatteredsoul was uncalled for, you old fool. Her thoughts raged madly, anger flaming at everyone in the area. She never was one to side with the base of others' ideas and thoughts. She was quite the independent spirt, as spontaneous as it was. The she-cat sat calmly, despite it all, a glare plastered on her face. "You're all nuts." She sighed. Her contained, quiet, agreeable, timid side was now replaced with her true self.

This clan will fall if we keep fighting like this, I just wish things were all right and fixed. All that's going on right now is fighting and war, RiverClan is claiming Sunningrocks, the gathering had gone wrong, everything was going wrong.... Eaglepaw thought as she looked up at the Jaggedrock. She growled in disappointment, "Were all nuts?" she murmured to Shattercoul, "Not all of us think loyalty will save us!" she growled at the warrior. "I don't think loyalty is the only thing that matters, I also think peace is what matters too! I am loyal but not loyal to fighting. Of course I'll protect my clan and risk my life but not if it's like this" she growled, but not to the warrior...

Mudfoot couldn't take it much longer, he felt as if his fur was about to fall off. With an angry hiss, the tom trotted towards Shatteredsoul. In complete silence, the tom gave Shatteredsoul a good, sharp bite on the rump. He could hear cats whispering among themselves but not truly speaking up. "Enough!" He yowled, a few sparrows fluttered out of a tree. Mudfoot stood glancing around the clearing in a strange type of silence, with an pissed angry expression. "Everyone needs to stop." He huffed. "I don't care who killed who or what happened when. We are all going to kill in our lifetime so get over it already!" He looked from Shatteredsoul to Thrushstar. "I have the utmost respect for you Thrushstar. But if you get angry start yelling at cats and start losing respect from your clan..." The tom took a moment to think. "Then we all are no more than a pack of foxes." The charming tom knew his words were very deep but stood tall. He wanted the greater good for the clan and them bickering and fighting wasn't helping. "And you." He turned to Shatteredsoul. "You have no right to yell or accuse your leader of anything. I know things are weird right now, but still." He meowed sternly. He hated acting this way, but he had to do what must be done.

Eaglepaw eyes grew wide with fear "I-I'm...sorry I..didn't want to hurt anyone if I did Mudfoot I-I..." she murmured scared of the tall tom....

Mosspaw closed her eyes, a pained expression taking over her face as the clan exploded into a vicious name-calling fest where everyone was flinging accusations one after another. She loved her clan, she really did, but at moments like this, Mosspaw wanted nothing more than to hide under a rock. But that wasn't an option. "St- stop. Mudfoot. Silverpaw, sister please. That's enough." Her voice wavered in the beginning but slowly she found herself again. The she-cat was nearly warrior sized, so she had enough mass to leap next to Mudfoot and face everyone down squarely. Until the day he died, Thrushstar was their leader, and her grandfather, she wouldn't watch him be torn down. Not even by a cat she loved. "Shatteredsoul. Our leader has spoken, please leave." She said to her cousin, looking him square in the eyes without flinching for once. She'd never liked the tom, he'd been frightening to her even when she was a kit, he'd look at her with cold eyes that only seemed to soften for his sister. Then she turned to the warriors and apprentices assembled. "I think we're all tired, it's been a long night. Let's all get some rest. Mudfoot?" She looked over to the vocal warrior, hoping that he'd support her as she tried to end this all before it devolved into a proper fight.
