Tallpaw's Patrol/Training

Cedarfur woke before the sun and padded to the apprentice area. "Tallpaw!" The tom meowed, happy to have an apprentice to train. Hopefully, today he would be able to show Tallpaw good tips and tricks on WindClan's territory.

Tallpaw ' s ears pricked hearing her name and she opened her golden brown eyes and stood as if she hadn't been sleeping the whole time and padded over"yes?"she mewed excitement alt in her eyes.

"We're going to do some training today." The tall cat meowed softly, not wanting to wake the others up. Cedarfur trotted over to the fresh kill pile and took a small field mouse, gulping it down in one bite. "Eat if you're hungry. Unless you want to wait till after the patrol which might be a little while." He pointed out not wanting to hear any complaints about a hungry belly.

"I'll eat when we get back " She mewed her unusually long tail flicking and she smiled some.

Cedarfur gave a nod and headed out of camp. "So I was thinking we should start with a border patrol and then some hunting." He meowed.

Tallpaw listened as the she cat followed her mentor."ok sounds Good"She mewed and smiled a bit in excitement

Cedarfur trotted on till he could hear the roar of rushing water. He slowed the pace until he reached near the edge of the gorge and stopped. "Do you know what this is?" He asked in a serious tone, wondering how much Tallpaw already knew.

Tallpaw followed after him quietly. She slowed down as he did and blinked listening to the roaring of the water for a moment before she mewed"um...is it the gorge? "She asked slowly as if not sure about her answer.

"It sure is." Cedarfur replied, slightly impressed. "Many cats have taken their own lives or fell on accident into the gorge, always be careful." He got shivers thinking about the cats that died from the fall. "Lets move on, shall we?" The tom said turning to leave.

Tallpaw blinked remaining quiet before she nodded quietly "yeah let's continue " she mewed.

Cedarfur gave a nod and trotted off towards the Thunderpath. Always get the scary, horrible stuff out of the way, then hunt and train. He thought to himself. "Here we are, the Thunderpath." He said, wincing from the horrid smell.

Tallpaw blinked and followed quietly. Though she recoiled a bit at the smell of the thunderpath " ewww it smells horrible " She mewed.

"Yeah. It's those horrible monsters that make is smell so bad." He peered down the Thunderpath wondering if any were coming. Soon enough, a huge twoleg monster roared by. Cedarfur's fur stood up on end.

Tallpaw blinked hearing the roaring coming down the Thunderpath. She blinked and jumped back her black and white fur standing on end her eyes wide."w..was that a m..monster " She mewed.

Cedarfur gave a nod as the monster raced away. "Almost every cats worst nightmare, defiantly a brutal but fast death." He said thinking of the cats he had seen die by this horrid place. "Lets get going." He meowed. (time skip) After a short walk onto the open moor, he reached the most common hunting grounds. "Lets see what you got. Catch two or three rabbits, and I'll be watching you from a distance."
