A training patrol ((CLOSED))

Prodding Adderpaw's side with his small paw, Tinylegs let out a soft mew. "Adderpaw, wake up," he whispered. With that, the little white tom made his way out of the warm den and into the crisp morning Leafbare air. Today, he'd take his apprentice to explore more of the territory and hopefully it wouldn't take too long.

Adderpaw woke with a grunt, eyes peeling open sleepily to glare at her mentor's small pale shape. Rising to her paws, she quickly stretched blearily, too tired to even really offer the usual sort of eager questioning or banter that her mentor had likely become accustomed too. Quickly padding out the den after Tinylegs, she allowed her thick fur to bush slightly at the cold air as she stopped beside her mentor. "What are we doing today?" She asked with a yawn, the final tendrils of sleep still clinging to her.

Turning around, Tinylegs was glad to see that Adderpaw had woken up so quickly. "Today we're going to patrol the borders," he meowed with a smile, his tail flicking back and forth. Hopefully he'd be able to show Adderpaw some place that she hadn't been able to explore yet, and hopefully this patrol would help get his mind off of Antdrop. "How about we get going then," the small tom added and started making his way out of camp and into the territory.

Adderpaw yawned once more, blinking several times to clear all of the remaining fog of sleep from her, before slowly padding after Tinylegs. Keeping pace with her smaller mentor, she shook herself briefly to prevent the brisk chill of the day from seeping back into her form. "Where would you like to go first?" She finally broke the comfortable silence between the pair, her voice echoing slightly in the empty, snow-filled forest. Normally she would of barraged Tinylegs with the usual short-tempered banter that he was likely accustomed to from her, but Adderpaw felt much to tired to partake in that, and instead reveled in the quiet.

Padding through the frosty forest, Tinylegs turned his head to Adderpaw. Where did he want to go? She was definitely raised right, asking him for his opinion. He respected that in cats. "Let's head to Fallen Oak first," the small warrior replied with a smile, trying to keep up the pace, not wanting to slow the patrol down. It was evident that Adderpaw had slowed her pace for him and although in the past he probably would've been a little offended, he'd learned to accept the fact that he was smaller than others.

After a few more moments of walking on the crunchy and not very quiet ground, the two cats reached their destination. Slightly opening his jaw, Tinylegs scented the air for anything out of the ordinary and turned to Adderpaw. "So, tell me what you know about this place," he asked.
