| Shimmerheart walked out into the warriors' den, mind reeling. After all my moons as a kit, planning on being a medicine cat, I never expected this. Even when I agreed to be a warrior, I didn't expect this. I knew it was a possibility when I fell in love with Leopardfang, but I never fully expected it. And now, here it is. She walked up to Leopardfang's nest. He looked like he was thinking, and she didn't want to disturb him, but she got the feeling he would want to know. | Leopardfang looked up at her from his moss nest, puzzled. He couldn't recall Shimmerheart ever taking on such an apprehensive tone, so naturally he was worried that something might be wrong. He shuffled to his paws quickly and leaned forward some, a look of concern outlining his features. "Yes? Is everything okay?" He meowed softly. | He was quiet for a moment, entirely expressionless. Kits? He was awful with kits. He avoided them if he could. Even new apprentices were annoying to him. How on earth was Leopardfang going to be a father? Still, it would be even tougher for Shimmerheart. She never even wanted to be a queen, did she? He blinked his green eyes before finally responding. "That's great, Shimmerheart." He purred and moved to nuzzle her gently. "They will be the best warriors the Clan has ever seen... I know it." Every father was a father for the first time, right?
