Not as fun as you thought, huh?

Bluekit, paw now, sat outside the apprentice den. "Being an apprentice is so boring." he sighed.

Stormpaw was laying on his favorite rock near the apprentice den, and opened up one eye. "Tell me about it, but it is nice being able to leave camp now. I never see my mentor anyways, so the only fun I have is going hunting and talking to you guys."

"Well, we just have to have a warior with us, so says the code." Bluepaw meowed, rolling his eyes.

"Don't be disrespectful of the code." Ravenpaw told Bluepaw, padding out of the Apprentices Den. "It's one of the reasons why you are still here."

Bluepaw flicked an ear. "Whatever you say I was being." he meowed, not wanting to argue.

Icepaw trotted over to the group, sitting beside Ravenpaw. "Well, there is good things besides being able to go outside, such as being able to go to gatherings, or go hunting, or protecting the borders...whatever you can find fun." He mewed, remembering his first gathering.

Ravenpaw laughed softly. 'Yes, but that isn't always fun."

Stormpaw just shrugged, placing his head on his paws. "I just wish my mentor came around more...but I guess she is leader of RiverClan now!"

Foxkit bounded out of the nursery, "Hi!" she called to Bluepaw

"Hey Foxkit." Bluepaw meowed, smiling at her.

"How is it being in an apprentice?" she asked

"Boring." Bluepaw sighed. "The best part is hunting."

"I thought being an apprentice would be fun" she mewed
