Hazelkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Breezestar sat in the middle of camp. "Let all cats of SkyClan join here for a clan meeting!"

Snowpaw walked over and sat down.

Hazelkit had been resting in the nursery when she had heard of a clan meeting. Her eyes had widened, it was about time she became a apprentice!

"Hazelkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time you were apprenticed." He meowed, "From this day forth until you have received your Warrior name, you will be known as Hazelpaw. Crowflight will be your mentor."

Mapledrop purred as her adopted daughter was named Hazelpaw. Her heart filled with a sharp pain for a second as she honored and grieved for her dead sister Hazelkit who died of unknown reasons. All Mapledrop knew was that she woke up peacefully only to have her sister gone and then later found dead.
