An Adventure for the Snowy Crows

Crowpaw decided to take a small trip out to their territory. He knew this point was safe because the territory Windclan claimed over didn't come to here, though that didn't stop the scent from drifting over. The black apprentice decided that if he had to never smell that scent again it would be too soon. He wanted his home back. Of course in his small trip he didn't come alone. He had brought another apprentice with him who was Snowpaw. He figured if they ran into any trouble then it would be easy for the two of them to escape. "We are almost there."

Snowpaw followed Crowpaw. She smelled the air for WindClan scent. There was some, but it was kinda faint.

The black apprentice had intended for the two of them to hunt. They couldn't exactly fish like Riverclan could. When they finally reached the half-stone Crowpaw breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright. Let's split up for now, but don't stray to far. If you get into trouble just yowl." He didn't really want to stray from the other apprentice but how were they supposed to get any hunting done if they stayed together?

Snowpaw nodded, but Crowpaw already left. She smelled the air for prey. She smelled a bird. She found it hopping on the ground. She pounced, and she caught it. Suddenly, that faint WindClan scent grew stronger.

Crowpaw crept through the territory looking for something when he spotted a rabbit. A rabbit was rare. If he recalled correctly it was Snowpaw's favorite, that only made him want to catch it more. The black apprentice crept forward slowly, and then pounced on the rabbit swiftly killing it in one blow. He picked up the plump rabbit and trotted back to the halfstone to hide it there.

Snowpaw hid her bird at Halfstone.She looked around for a noise in the bushes, from prey or cats.

When Crowpaw got to the halfstone, he saw Snowpaw again. "Did you find any trouble? Should we leave?" The black apprentice asked carrying the rabbit over to join her.

Snowpaw shook her head. "There was a small WindClan scent, but it's alright." she answered.

"That's a relief. Did you catch anything?" He asked unaware of the bird she just hid not to long ago. Obviously he had caught a rabbit seeing how it was sitting at his paws. "If you did then we should both attempt to catch one more thing before we had back." He didn't want to catch too much cause they wouldn't be able to carry that much between the two of them.

"Just caught a bird." Snowpaw replied. She sniffed around for prey scent. After she located some prey she prepared to pounce.

"Nice." He said to her before straying from the stone again to find another piece of prey. This time he went up into the trees. He was sure to find a squirrel here. He really wanted a nice plump squirrel for later. The black apprentice crept along the branches, and grew happy when he saw a Squirrel. Bunching the muscles in his back legs he jumped onto the squirrel, and killed it in a swift blow. Happy with his new piece of Prey Crowpaw jumped to the ground, and waited on Snowpaw to join him back at the stone.

Snowpaw walked back to the stone. She saw the squirrel Crowpaw caught.

Crowpaw face lit up slightly when he saw her. "I suppose we should go now, but I don't really want to leave. I miss our camp.. and our territory." He said to her, placing his squirrel down with the rabbit.

Snowpaw nodded. "So do I." she replied. She missed her comfortable nest in the apprentice den.

Crowpaw let silence fall between them for a moment, then he decided to speak again. "Hey Snowpaw. We should do this again sometime." He stood from his spot and moved over to the two pieces of prey he had caught. "We should head back now. I have a rabbit we can share when we get back if you would like too." He said to her.
