Hurricane Season [Part II]

RiverClan territory was but a temporary reserve. They needed to keep moving, and SkyClan was the natural location to head next. The illegitimacy of their existence didn't help matters, certainly. The territory as well was less marshy, and better suited for their needs. They would take this. Falconstar led his clan into the territory, preparing to either waltz into the camp or take it by force. Eaglethorn gathered as well with the clan, much preferring softer grass beneath his paws. The second takeover was upon them.

OoC: Well, time to complete the second part of our "WindClan Event". If you've seen the RiverClan part, you know what to expect. Let's go again, WC.

Lightfoot glanced around at the territory. It had belong to WindClan many moons ago, he was told. It was strange, though a relief from RiverClan's useless land. The trees laid on the ground with clots of mud and dirt still clinging to the roots. Hunting would still be difficult, if there were any animals to be found near. He shuffled his paws some and looked towards his leader and old mentor for direction.

Ashwing followed Falconstar, Eaglethorn, Lightfoot and the rest of their Clan onto SkyClan territory. SkyClan, the smallest and weakest Clan, built solely from kittypets, wasn't worthy to own forest territory. WindClan was really doing them a favor, helping them to die out quickly before leaf-bare.

Longwhisker also followed his Clan. More territory for the strongest Clan in the forest. He tried not to feel bad. Might makes right.... right?

(Are we supposed to do SkC yet? If not, ignore.) Nettlepaw of SkyClan was sitting on the territory when she saw a large group of cats heading towards the camp. They smelled of WindClan. Huh? She stood up and slowly went to the warriors' den to grab her mentor Deerflight.

Mapledrop woke up when Nettlepaw came into the den. "Nettlepaw? What's wrong?" The dark red she cat meowed. She nudged Deetflight, since Nettlepaw was her "mates" apprentice.

Snakepaw's yellow eye glowed as he padded next to Blizzardpaw. The warrior size and aged apprentice narrowed his eyes. He was a little bit happy and excited to be back with his clan after the Twolegs took him and fixed his broken leg. Being back on the field would help him a lot, considering he had been away for very many moons.

Blizzardpaw padded next to Snakepaw. Glancing at the older cat he noticed the brown tom installer than the average Windclan cat, but Stoll not as tall as Cedarfur, or Blizzardpaw when he is full grown.

Hailpaw padded behind the rest, looking around at the unfamiliar place. It was better than the riverclan territory, but she did hope soon they would be able to go back to their own territory.

Icestorm, Cedarfur, and Smokepelt padded next to their clan in silence. Icestorm, caught up with Ashwing and nuzzled her on the cheek. Thank StarClan was are leaving RiverClan. I always knew SkyClan would be the best choice for us.

Cedarfur looked around for his kits and Leafsnap, wanting to comfort them. I hope they aren't scared.

Smokepelt had no one to really go to, so he kept quiet and followed his Uncle.

Goldenpool sat up and stood close to Falconstar. They were gonna conquer their next territory, Skyclan.

"Sandfeather?" Mapledrop hissed to her best friend. "Wake up Sandfeather!" The pretty dark red she cats liquid amber gaze glowed dimly in the darkness as she provided her friend with her cold nose.

Snakepaw breathed in deeply. He thought about how this could make him a warrior, and how much better it would be if  He were one.

Blizzardpaw just knew that he had to protect the kits, if they still had some. He looked around to see if Witherpaw was with them.

Sandfeather snapped awake and blinked at the dark red she-cat.
"W-What?" she murmured groggily. The ginger she-cat rolled over and pulled herself up. She blinked for a second and started to become more alert.
"Is something wrong, Mapledrop?"

Goldenpool was antsy. Her paws shuffled across the ground. She had heard stories that the Skyclan camp had originally belonged to Windclan. She was determined to take it back. Goldenpool's eyes darted nervously around Skyclan's territory. She stood fairly close to Falconstar now as she waited for her leaders command to attack. In some ways, she felt bad. Windclan was pretty big compared to the puny Skyclan. The small clan was well... it was small.

"Do you smell that?" Mapledrop hissed back to her younger friend. Her tail lashed and she could have swore she smelled Windclan.. But she wasn't entirely sure..

Snakepaw trudged on his yellow eyes taking in everything.

Blizzardpaws piercing ice blue eyes took in the beautiful green forest.

Spiderpaw kept close to her father, Cedarfur, glad that he wasn't so angry and scary this time. "H-how b-big is S-Skyclan?" She said, her nervousness obvious in her voice. She still hadn't grown much since her apprentice ceremony, would she ever get bigger than this? A squirrel, just as jittery as her, caught the she-cat's sharp eye before it dashed off into the broken underbrush again.

Goldenpool turned to Spiderpaw.
"They are quite small," she mewed quietly.

Sandfeather stood up and took a long sniff. She did smell Windclan.
"Are they invading? We've had enough battle so far!" Sandfeather whined.

"I know Sandfeather. I've had enough to. Even though the other clans don't seem to care about us and our well being. We have to strike back with everything we have." Mapledrop meowed curling her tail and stretching.

Snakepaw heard voices and strained his ears to hear them but to no luck.

Blizzardpaw looked around.

OoC: Alright, it's time for SkyClan to post. Anyone who's already posted has to post again, or it won't count. Happy Thanksgiving.

Sandfeather raced out of the den. Her mind whirled with thoughts but the biggest one was Where is Breezestar? Windclan's scent drifted into the camp and filled it with the smell of moors and rabbits. Yuck. Her wounds from Thunderclan's raid on them had not completely healed yet. How could the small clan of Skyclan manage to fend off Windclan, who- not to mention- was huge compared to Skyclan.
