Dreamkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Nightfire stomped to the nursery, almost growling inside. "Hurry up Dreamkit" he huffed, already starting to pad away. After his encounter with Coalspirit, he lost his temper. Was every apprentice of his going to leave or just betray him? Whatever, he'll just stick with this kit that wanted to deal with herbs. Pinning his ears, he stayed a grump, starting to hate the kit already.

Dreamkit got up and padded out of the nursery. She ignored Nightfire's grumpy attitude though he somewhat radiated resentment. Dreamkit caught up to him, her Amber eyes sparkling like stars. She was so excited though it would be tough to deal with Nightfire. She didn't speak since she didn't trust her voice to stay quiet.

Nightfire kept up a heavy pace, quickly making it to the Mothermouth. Without any words, he charged in, making the kit fumble. Starclan just seemed to have it destined for him to have incompetent apprentices didn't they. If only Swiftnose would tell him to wait and when the right one would come.

Dreamkit stumbled a bit. She quickly picked up her pace and made her way after Nightfire quickly. She felt odd in Mothermouth as she followed Nightfire.

Nightfire stopped in front of the Moonstone, not yet glowing. He didn't speak, but growled lowly in his throat to himself. Yet another time here for another apprentice. He was tired of this, he didn't want another apprentice just to dip out and leave or betray his clan. Soon she'll learn this isn't what she wants to do.

Dreamkit stood beside Nightfire. Nothing special so far. Dreamkit looked around as if expecting a random cat with stars jump out of no where. She took to Nightfire's example and stayed silent. It was a hard task for the talkative she-cat but she managed.

At last the moonlight made it through the hole in the roof, shining up the Moonstone. "Tell no one of your dream." he huffed, laying down himself and hoping for Swiftnose to come to him. Some kind of guidance.

Dreamkit stared in awe at the stone. She looked at Noghtfire with soft Amber eyes and nodded. She stopped in front of the stone. This was it. Here goes nothing. She pressed her nose to the stone and her world fell away, collapsing beneath her paws and she was enveloped in darkness.
