Broken is Broken(open)

Brokenpaw padded from the apprentices den. The young she cat had been very in a way antisocial since Deadpaw was found well dead. It had upset her because really she had liked him deep down but she would never be able to tell him. At first she had been said but what sadness had been had now at this point turned to anger and she wasn't so nice anymore. It had been obvious her change in attidute since that day. Now the broken tail and pawed she cat sat her green eyes narrowed a bit as she looked around quietly. She had nothing to do well she did but she thought she would hang around camp that day. Quietly she laid down and waited for any cat to approach the she cat.

"Brokenpaw?" came the white she-cat's soft voice as she padded out of the shadows of the apprentice's den and over to her sister. Frostpaw hadn't talked to her in a while and she hoped to catch up with her. Brokenpaw was her sister and she felt like they should have a closer relationship. "Um...how are you feeling?" The she-cat's green eyes were filled with sorrow as they gazed at the multi-colored cat laying in front of her. Frostpaw sensed that Brokenpaw was saddened by the death of Deadpaw and she made it her job to comfort her.

Brokenpaw ' s narrowed green gaze looked up at her sister Frostpaw."hey Frostpaw " She mewed to her sister her eyes unnarrowed though her voice held a coldness to it as if she were trying to block out any emotion at the moment."Im doing fine"She mewed though it was an obvious lie.

Hurt flashed across Frostpaw's face at the coldness of Brokenpaw's tone. But, that wasn't the only thing, it was the fact that her sister lied to her. "Oh," she replied as her face dropped. Frostpaw didn't bother to hide her own emotions, she knew that it wouldn't work because she was so bad at it. Sitting down, the apprentice decided to change the topic. "So, how's your training coming along?"

"Hewo, stwanger." A tiny tiny voice said, a big smile on his face. The tiny tom bounced in front of the too, bouncing up and down. He was almost brand new- born a bit more than a moon ago. "Whats wrong?" He said with a baby voice.

Brokenpaw blinked when she saw the hurt cross her sister's face. She thought about saying sorry and she really wanted to but it wouldn't come out because any emotions she wanted to feel was numbed out and replaced with a defying coldness."training has been going great I should be having my assessment soon " She mewed with a tad bit of kindness to her voice but her facial expression showed nothing. Then her gaze turned towards the kit"nothing she mewed.

"I'm, um, Seedkit." He mewed, attempting to figure out his words in the right order. When he believed he got them right, he said them. "You're?" He asked.

Mudpaw was sitting not to far from the apprentices and couldn't help but over hearing their conversation. "Hey, why so down in the dumps?" The young tom asked, implying Brokenpaw. When he hard the kit come over looked over at the kit who came up to them.

Brokenpaw looked to the kit and said with barely an expression on her face. She looked at the kit and said " Brokenpaw is my name " She mewed but then she looked at Troutstep"nothing nothing has me down in the dumps... I just lost someone I cared about no problem I'm just peachy " She said with a slight growl.

"Mhm," Mudpaw meowed. Lifting his head and looking at Brokenpaw he couldn't help but say bluntly "well, life happens. Better get used to it."

Frostpaw watched with silence as her sister spoke to the kit and Mudpaw. "Hi, Mudpaw," The white she-cat purred softly. She turned to the kit and said "Hi, Seedkit, I'm Frostpaw."

Mudpaw stared at Frostpaw. Wow, he lost his train of thought but snapped back into the moment. Stop daydreaming about Frostpaw, doesn't she have a crush already anyway? the handsome apprentice thought to him self.

Brokenpaw broken like tail lashed just slightly. "Sure yeah like I'll get used to it " She mewed and she laid her head on her paws.

Fogpaw padded out of the apprentices den and stretched luxuriously in the morning light. She was glad she didnt have to sleep in the nursery anymore. Those new kits used to keep her up all night. Fogpaw scanned the camp and spotted a group of older apperntices and trotted over. "Good morning!"she purred

Mudpaw looked down towards Brokenpaw. At times, he was very handsome, but did sometimes forget how to act towards mourning cats. Though when Fogpaw came up to them, he gave a warm welcome. "Hello Fogpaw," the cute tom gave a smile.
