Clouded Mind and Clear Hearts

IC: Goldenpaw sat beside the prey pile. Her golden fur blew thickly in the calm breeze. Her fur ruffled lightly. Goldenpaw's eyes were rippling lakes of gold. She sat in front of a rabbit, just staring at it.

Smokepelt padded up to the apprentice, who looked lonely. "Why hello, fancy I meet you here." he gave a soft smile.

Goldenpaw looked up and saw Smokepelt. She felt her hunt thump heavily as if it wanted to escape.
"Fancy seeing you too," she mewed and blinked.

Smokepelt gulped and sat down next to the apprentice. He didn't want to seem rude, but really couldn't think of any conversation starters.

IC: Goldenpaw stretched. She thought of a conversation.
"So. What's up?"

"Oh, everything," he gave a sigh. "I don't know what to do, and it's really overwhelming."

Goldenpaw looked at him and blinked.
"You can always vent to me. I'd love to help," Goldenpaw smiled then looked at the rabbit.

Smokepelt was wondering whether to tell her his problems or not. "Well," he kicked some dirt with his paw. "Why does loving she-cats have to be complicated?"

Goldenpaw laughed.
"We're she-cats. Duh," she rolled her eyes," We're just plain complicated. But asking a she-cat that, we think Toms are complicated. But I don't really know. Maybe it's complicated for many reasons."

"True.." he gave a sigh.
