Daisypaw and Rowanpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Falconstar bounded to the top of the Tallrock and called out, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

OoC: Please tell me your warrior names.

Goldenpaw padded out of the apprentices den. Her denmates were becoming warriors! She was happy for them. The thick furred, golden she-cat limped out of the den more, her paw still sprained. Goldenpaw then sat down with the other cats.

This was it. It had been exactly six moons since the apprentice's training had begun. Ever since that day, Daisypaw was itching to become a warrior and prove herself further for her clan. With Eaglethorn's guidance, she believe she was ready for the next step. Apparently he did as well.

It was a few suns before Falconstar's call that she overheard her mentor speaking with the leader about her training. She felt bad for spying on the toms, but she couldn't help but giggle as they conversed about her warrior ceremony. Licking down her already flat, white fur, the she-cat stood from her spot at the fresh-kill pile and stood underneath the Tallrock. Smiling wildly, she gave her undivided attention to the brown leader.

Lightfoot moved into the clearing to sit next to Goldenpaw. His smile broadened when he saw Daisypaw, looking all grown-up. It was a little bit saddening to think that his kits weren't kits anymore, but it was also a happy moment. He was purring with his white tail swishing every now and then. Lightfoot wanted to run over and spout how proud of Daisypaw and Rowanpaw he was, but he knew that they'd think he was overreacting so he kept his paws planted right where he was. Ah, but where is Rowanpaw? Catching sight of Rowanpaw always made his stomach flip, but it never showed on the outside. He loved Rowanpaw very much, but he reminded Lightfoot the most of Dawnstrike...

ic: Rowanpaw was busy scarfing down his meal. Could it be? His ceremony? He nearly gagged on the feathers of the thrush he was tucking into, but there was no time to waste. What if he was late to his own ceremony? No cat has ever missed their own warrior ceremony! He coughed a few times after standing onto his paws, the last of his prey not going down so smoothly. He hurried toward the center of camp, not taking a moment to prepare himself. The large apprentice found his spot next to his sister, which he greeted excitedly, butting her in acknowledgment with his forehead. The ginger-and-white tomcat curled his large tail around his paws, puffing out his chest. He caught a glance of his father spectating them. I hope he thinks I look like a warrior... His amber eyes glimmered as he gazed up at Falconstar. Despite his excitement, he kept his composure.

With everyone appropriately gathered, Falconstar continued. "Daisypaw, Rowanpaw, you have both proven yourselves worthy to become warriors of WindClan. It is time for you both to receive your new names and join the ranks of your fellow warriors. From now on, you will be known as Daisypatch and Rowancloud. You both will sit vigil tonight, and in the morning you will start your warrior duties. Continue to serve WindClan with all of your strength." He stepped back, allowing the clan to celebrate the two new warriors, Eaglethorn's yowls towering above the rest.
