Training Topic

Orbit stuck her head in the main den. "Moon, Eagle get up. Time for training." she whispered

Moonlight opens his pale ice blue eye then opened his light green eye when his grandmother said time to train. "Coming!" He meowed excitedly and got up to his paws. Padding out he nudged his brother Eagle on the way out. He stood before his grandmother Orbit his tail tip was the only thing that betrayed his excitendness.

The Siemese cat jerked his head up with dreary, tired eyes. "W-what? Is it time for training, Grandma Orbit?" He trotted after the two, with his vision blurred. I'm too tired to learn anything now... But, if I don't, then I won't be able to become a Herb-Gatherer! 


Shaking the sour thought away, Eagle, still tired, sat down next to his brother, and bristled with excitement and the sharp wind nipping at his medium length fur.

Orbit nodded at Eagle. Realizing how tired he was, she handed him some traveling herbs to boost his energy.

Time skip


Orbit neared the edge of the territory where many herbs grew best, thanks to the moors. She turned around to face her apprentices and sat down.

Moonlight say in front of his grandma Orbit and his mentor. He studied the moors and noted that it would be best for running around and for rabbits. He saw a few bushes and patches of heather. He noticed you'd have to be really fast to catch any rabbits on this land. His eyes narrowed at the challenge and he told himself he would catch at least five rabbits sometime before he returns to camp no matter how long it took him.

" What would you like to start with?" orbit asked

"Can we start with the herbs and their names and then can you show them to us?" Moonlight replied this was a job worth doing. Something caught his eye on the moor and he turned his head towards a rabbit but then he turned back towards Orbit to learn.

Orbit nodded. She turned to s herb, picking some. "This is tansy. It is used for poisons and coughs. It cod also be used for sore throats or wounds. You eat it, in small doses. she handed the tansy to eagle and moon.

Eagle watched his grandmother, "Why is tansy used for poison?"

Orbit shrugged. "it just works. You heard of Sandy, the past deputy, right?"

"Yeah.. What about her?" He examined the herb, narrowing his eyes. Interesting...

"Did she get posioned?" Moonlight meowed and he nudged the Tansy over to Eagle.

Orbit looked at the ground and gave a slow nod. " Can you each go try to find some tansy? It grows well around here."
