| Tunnelpaw padded from the apprentice den and sat down. She only recently became an apprentice and she was hoping Shark it became an apprentice soon. In fact she was hoping this was his apprentice ceremony. She smiled some and came to sit beside him.

"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar said to the gathering cats. "Shardkit, from tonight until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Shardpaw. Your mentor shall be Bearmask. May she teach you everything that she knows." |
