Flamekit's Apprentice Ceremony

While there was no high rock to call a ceremony from, Duskfall found the nearest large stone and climbed on top. It was finally time to end Flamekit's punishment, and allow him to become an apprentice once more. He's proven himself loyal in the fire, fighting to help his clanmates desperately through the flames. He had earned his place amongst them once more.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their prey gather beneath me for a clan meeting!"

Duskfall looked down at the ginger tom who was large enough to be a warrior. It was high time he became an apprentice once more, and fought amongst his fellow clanmates.

"Flamekit, you have proved yourself to this clan in the forest fires, and I see where your true loyalties lie now. From this day onwards, you will be called Flamepaw once more, till you become a warrior. Palegaze will be your mentor, and I trust he will pass all that he knows onto you. May Starclan guide your path."

Newly named Flamepaw padded up to Palegaze and touched noses with his new mentor. He wondered what Palegaze would think of having an old traitor as an apprentice. But I wasn't a traitor, he assured himself.
