Cloverpaw unsheathed her claws and ran after Blazingheart using her claws to make her faster like Thornfang said.

Tanglepaw ran after them his claws unsheathed as well.

Flashpaw ran on three legs since her leg was still a little sore and hurt when she put her weight on it but she managed to keep up.

Turtlepaw staggered after Blazingheart. Man, he was fast! "Wait up," she called, a little hoarsely. "I'm not that good at running anymore."

Tigerpaw unsheathed his claws and dug them into the crusted and dead earth, making him dart forward. The apprentice focused on the elder cat, making sure to follow his pawsteps carefully and not get lost among the burnt forest. Tigerpaw made sure to keep track of where he was going so he could retrace his steps after the patrol. The tom took a sniff at the air as he kept a steady pace, trying to scent anything. Unfortunately, everything was overpowered by the stench of smoke and burnt materials. But that didn't mean anything or anyone was not in the territory.

If there is any prey or trespassers stupid enough to run around out here, it'll be easy to catch them.

Sweetpaw, being the younger of the two family members, was surprisingly fast. She buried her claws into the earth and kneaded the dirt before bolting off after Blazingheart.

Batpaw followed his niece, unsheathing his claws and propelling himself forward.

Tanglepaw slowed down and ran next to Turtlepaw.

Rainpaw ran after the other apprentices. She wasn't really fast and so she had to make an effort to follow the others. She was looking forward to this patrol - it was her first time outside of the camp, so the young she-cat was very exited.

Ghotpaw got up, stretching lazily as he watched the others run off ahead. After another moment he sighed and bolted after them, glad for his naturally long legs. Catching up he caught sight of Flashpaw and slowed, holding back a bit to keep just a few tail lengths behind her.

IC: "Hey Lionpaw," Daisypaw smiled as she limped after them.

OOC: everyone else who hasn't posted in a while will catch up later because some people really need this to be finished.

IC: Blazingheart came to a stop and opened his mouth, drinking in the air. "Everyone, tell me what you smell," he purred.

Stormpaw stopped by her grandpaw and sniffed the air. "A faint trace of vole," she answered.

OOC: I'll edit the scent marker thing if needed, lol.

Batpaw paused next to his father. Opening his mouth, he let the scents wash in. "I scent vole, like Stormpaw, mouse, thrush, and sparrow." he mewed.

Sweetpaw scented the air. "Vole, mouse, thrush, sparrow, robin, and other Clans' scent markers." she answered.

"Vole,mouse,thrush,robin,sparrow,crow,and other clan scent markers like Stormoaw Batpaw and Sweetpaw." Cloverpaw meowed.

Daisypaw, who was last, as always... sniffed the air. "Frog..." Her voice sounded disgusted.
