Condorpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Fishstar called, loud and clear. Condorpaw's ceremony was quite overdue.

Tidalpaw padded over happily, wondering which of her fellow apprentices would become a warrior. She knew Condorpaw had been an apprentice since she was little- so it made sense for it to be him. She sat in the middle of the group.

Specklepaw padded over as well, shoving Tidalpaw.

Condorpaw waltzed over, his fur already properly smoothed down as he took his place in the crowd. Reasonably, it was more than likely his ceremony. Of course, he was very much ready for it.

"Condorpaw, please step forward." Fishstar beckoned the apprentice forward with a flick of her tail.

Condorpaw stepped up proudly and looked up at his leader, beginning to beam as he knew what was to come next.

"I, Fishstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in turn." The she-cat directed her gaze down at the warrior to-be. "Condorpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Condorpaw listened intently to every word his leader said before nodding determinedly, an eagerness shining in his eyes. "I do!"

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Condorpaw, from this day forward you shall be known as Condorclaw. RiverClan honours your skill and loyalty."

Joyous chanting erupted from the Clan. Another new warrior had been made.

"Condorclaw! Condorclaw!" Tansypaw yowled. She had just recently come back from hunting to find her fellow apprentice a warrior.

"Condorclaw! Condorclaw!" Cloudclaw and Silverwing chanted with the clan. After all Silverwing was Cloudclaw's mentor

Tidalpaw smiled, "Condorpaw! Condorpaw!"

Condorclaw beamed proudly, standing as tall as he could as he dipped his head to Fishstar. He was finally a warrior! He couldn't have been happier.
