Orcakit, Badgerkit, and Stormkit's Apprentice Ceremonies

Breezestar leaped up to make an announcement. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Tall Branch for a clan meeting!"

Stormkit bounded out of the nursery, excitement filling her body as she sat in front of the Tall branch.

Orcakit followed after Stormkit their apprentice ceremony had finally arrived! It was hard to believe that only six moons ago they were squirming new-borns clambering over each other for warmth. Orcakit settled down next to her sister - her ears perking as she looked out for her brother and mother. As she waited she gently nudged Stormkit a bright grin planted on her face.

Awwwwwww, yeah! Badgerkit could hardly contain his excitement, which could be shown as he was bouncing up and down in front of the entrance of the apprentice den. He didn't have a good reason to be over there, other then he had wanted to try to scoop the way out. The warriors said that he couldn't go in until he was given his apprentice name, but they hadn't said he could hang out outside of it! And so, here he was. As Breezestar jumped onto the branch and called out for the ceremony to start, his attention was quickly caught. He saw his siblings race out of the apprentice den, and bounded over quickly to join them, taking a seat on the other side of Stormkit as he gave his siblings an excited look. "This is it!" he stated in a soft tone toward them, his aqua eyes flicking with pure happiness for this exact moment. "We are going to become apprentices!"

Breezestar watched as the clan came outside, gathering together to hear his word. He picked out three kits out of the crowd. "Orcakit, Badgerkit, and Stormkit... Would you all please step forward?" The gray tabby meowed, flicking his tail. "You have all reached the age of six moons and it's time you become apprentices. From this day forth, until you have received your warrior names, you will be known as Orcapaw, Badgerpaw, and Stormpaw."

He paused a moment before going on. "Orcapaw, you will be mentored by Fawnspirit. Badgerpaw, you will be mentored by Larktalon. And Stormpaw, Hollyshade will be your mentor."
