The Sandy Adventure (open)

Sandkit woke beside her siblings squirming some to get free of the other furry bodies of her siblings, Cherrykit, Lionkit, Stumpykit, and another kit (sorry couldn't remember the name) the little kit got to her paws after geting free and looked around quietly the grey tabby kit witha bit of genger in her fur smiled and without saying a word to her mother, Fennelcloud the little kit scampered out of the nursery.

Stumpkit noticed a small absence of warmth in the kit bundle. He awoke to see Sandkit missing. "Sandkit?" He called out in a hush. He got up on his stumpy legs and looked around, stumbling a bit. He walked forward but fell flat on his face. He let out a wail before hissing, "Stupid Legs!" He wriggled after his sister. "Sandkit! What are you doing? You have to ask mom before leaving!"

Sandkit stopped glancing back to her brother, Stumpkit."i didn't know and beside im not going far... yet"Sandkit mewed looking around quietly and then back to her brother.

"Don't be a wuss." Lionkit teased, chasing after her sister easily with a few leaps. She was not only the first born, but the strongest and largest. And that gave the kit a confidence boost a young thing like her probably could do without. "Sandkit, hold up. Let's go together. I want to see a toad close up. Father says they croak really loudly."

Sandkit smiled"yeah I want to see a toad up close to"She mewed smiling some looking at Lionkit.

Stumpkit was stunned at his sisters ability to easily bound out like that from the nursery. "I'll come too. I want to see a toad. Maybe we can catch it." He said, squeezing into their talk. All he wanted was to have them like him as the other kits teased him all the time.

"Sure you can come"Sandkit mewed smiling"maybe we could all catch a toad"Sandkit said smiling her tail flicking.

"Are you sure you can keep up though?" Lionkit asked, she cared for her brother, but questioned his abilities. No matter how well intentioned he was, in her eyes, he was weaker than the rest. Could he even pounce on a toad?

Stumpkit growled. "Are you saying I'm slow because of my disability? I'll show you!" He said and ran off.

"No, Stumpkit! You toad-brain!" Lionkit raced after her brother, leaping easily up to her brother, and she pounced on top of him. Her paws dug into his shoulders, pinning him in place. "You'll die, and we'll all be in trouble. I would lead but it was Sandkit's idea so she can lead. But you follow behind."
