ADVENTURE!!(open to RC)

It was bright and well into dawn as the petite kitten as small as her mother had been had made her way from the nest and outside the nursery curiously.Lionkit big light blue eyes widened eagerly as she seen outside the nursery. Jumping out the little she kit smiled taking everything in before a shiny pebbly distracted her and the pale ginger kitten leapt at it batting at it distractedly

Steps away from the early morning light, just inside the secure walls of the nursery crouched a small black and white tom-cat, his round, anxious golden eyes gleaming with noticeable apprehension.  Having awoken quite early, Magpiekit had crawled out of the large pile of fur and paws that made up his family's nest and situated himself in a little nook among the reeds, watching in awe as the sun rose above the tree line across the river.  He loved how calm everything was before the rest of the camp came to life and started to bustle with noisy action, the number of cats congregated in the large clearing always making his stomach churn.  He didn't understand why his siblings liked it so much...weren't they scared of being stepped on?  Or getting lost, or running into someone big and mean?  A cold shiver tingled down his tiny spine at the very thought!

Not after long though, warriors and apprentices had begun to emerge from their dens, and just when Magpiekit was about to stand up and return to where his family was resting he heard excited pawsteps approaching from behind.  The nervous kit pressed himself against the nursery wall, ears flattened and tail between his legs, as if trying to appear as small as possible; he watched though as the younger golden tabby she-kit passed by without seeing him, and left the nursery so casually as if it was nothing!  Once his heart slowed to a normal pace, the shy little tom crouched down and watched as she found an enemy combatant; a shiny pebble.  Quivering slightly, the bicolor kitten watched her with a gloomy expression; I wanna play with a pebble....  When he tried to move and introduce himself though, he found that his paws were frozen, as if stuck to the mossy floor.  He wanted to play, he wanted to make friends just like his brothers and sisters could...but doubt pulsed through his mind.  Would she even want to play with me?  Would she even like me?  I don't think the other kits do...Mama told me that to make friends all I have to do is go up and say hi...but what if it's not that simple?  What if she's mean, and hates me, and tells me to go away?!

His petite ears pressed flat against his skull, Magpiekit managed to take one small step out of the nursery, revealing his presence, but unable to go any further; a terrible overwhelming wave of fright consumed him as he just stared at Lionkit, a shell-shocked expression taking over his young face.

The little pale ginger kitten looked to the entrance of the nursery as she heard movement she gave a kind smile"Catch!"She squeaked but it was meant to make a friend. She hadn't had a friend yet minus her siblings. Her two brothers whom sere naturally bigger then her. She flicked an ear smiling as she scampered over"I'm Lionkit"She mewed.

Minkkit lay on his back, idly batting at leaves dangling down from above. A noise came from behind as his sister made her way outside the nursery, and he stopped, rolling onto his belly and glancing at the entrance. Another tom was there, a small black and white kit who looked incredibly timid. Springing to his paws, he padded over just as Lionkit approached the other. "Hey, I'm Minkkit." He grinned encouragingly, staying a comfortable distance away from the kit, so that if he decided to freak out and run somewhere he wouldn't crash into him.

In a flash of bright ginger, another kitten leaped from the bushes, landing on Minkkit's tail with a thud, tiny teeth nipping at it. Once satisfied with his surprise attack, Copperkit leaped over Minkkit and spun around to face him, tail lashing with excitement. He loved catching other kits off guard, even though his pelt was usually a dead giveaway if anything. Not that he let that get in his way, of course. He just used it as a way to get more practice hiding and then leaping!

Minkkit nearly yelped as his tail was suddenly pounced on from nowhere. Before he could do anything but whip around halfway, his brother had leaped over him, landing right in front of his face, his tail lashing. He let out a playful growl and leaped forwards himself. "I'll get you for that!"

Magpiekit's golden eyes grew even wider - if that was even possible - when the she-cat noticed him, instinctively taking a few cautious steps back as she trotted up to greet him with a big cheery smile and an introductory squeak of her name - Lionkit.  His heart was still hammering at extraordinary speeds, but her kind reaction to seeing his face managed to calm his frayed nerves just a bit.  Enough at least for him for him to open his mouth and stutter out; "I-I'm...Magpiekit..."  As soon as he had finally overcome that hurdle though, yet another kit popped up beside Lionkit, introducing himself as Minkkit.  The tiny black-and-white bi-color couldn't help but shrink back a little more, but just barely managed to reciprocate with a softly-spoken "Hi..."

And then, chaos.

With a startled squeak, Magpiekit jumped back a few inches as a vivid golden-pelted tom leaped from the bushes to tackle Minkkit, instigating a play fight the wary kit didn't want to go anywhere near.  Without thinking, he found himself shuffling closer towards Lionkit, the only cat left there who didn't seem to be trying to hurt themselves.  They're worse than my siblings!  At least Mama is always there to calm them down...where's their Mama?

Minkkit threw himself out of his tussle with Copperkit, shaking out his pelt. He grinned apologetically at the little kit that he'd tried talking to right before his brother decided to ambush him. "Sorry about that. You said your name was Magpiekit, right? That's a cool name."
Then he whirled straight back around and leaped on his brother before his tail got eaten again.

Copperkit squeaked as he brother landed on him, tail lashing as tiny claws pattered at his brother's side. As soon as they began to playfight, his brother jumped back to his feet. The ginger cat frowned and pulled himself back to his feet, tail lashing. Disappointed with how fast their playfight ended, the kitten sat not too far away and gave his chest a few swift licks.

"I'm Copperkit and th--" His confident voice was cut off as his brother wheeled around to tackle him again, spitting and clawing at his brother playfully. Then suddenly rolling them both to the side, bringing his hind legs in to batter at his brother's soft belly. Satisfied, he disengaged and trotted next to Lionkit, grooming himself more and giving his sister a few licks on the soldier. All the while glancing at his brother for another attack. He wasn't going to be caught off guard.

Minkkit panted as they broke apart, shaking his pelt free of dust and grinning at his brother. "Bet you didn't expect that." He casually padded up to the black and white kit he'd just introduced himself to, sitting near him and grooming out the extra dust.
Copperkit was still watching him, so he lifted his head and grinned at him before settling down and tucking his paws underneath him. His brother would probably leap before he did, so he just waited for it, content to soak up some extra sun.

As suddenly as the fight had started the two kits broke it off, and once again Minkkit was talking to him with a bright smile, though a much more dusty pelt.  For a moment, Magpiekit's wary eyes shifted from Lionkit to the other tom, before trying his best to replicate the other kit's grin, which came off much more awkwardly than he planned.  "T-thanks! I-"  With a sharp gasp, he watched as the two toms yet again leaped at each other, scuffling and clawing at each other with soft paws.  Can't they make up their minds?!  Why try to fight and talk at the same time?  Not as much scared now as just confused, he waited until Minkkit and the golden kit - Copperkit as he said - disentangled once again before meowing softly; "...W-why do you like to fight so much?  What if you...h-hurt each other?"

Minkkit stretched his paws in front of him, yawning wide. His yawn paused almost half-way as Magpiekit mewed something in his soft, hesitant voice. Cocking an ear, his grin turned into a puzzled smile as he looked down at the little black and white kit. "Fight? That wasn't fighting, that was playing. We keep our claws sheathed."
He looked harder at the little kit, a thought suddenly occuring to him. Maybe he's never play-fought before? Shaking himself, he stretched again, his tail waving lightly behind him. "We wouldn't hurt each other. Mostly just because you'd scream worse than that time you got stung by a bee," He directed towards his brother, the corner of his mouth twitching upwards.
(ooc: I'm assuming at least one of them would've gotten stung by a bee)

Honeykit looked around, she was a little tired after playing with the other puppies in the nursery.

there were storm clouds and the wind ruffled his fur. it dug its paws into the ground and wagged its tail. it was about time he became an apprentice! he was getting too old to be in the nursery, but no one seemed to be able to answer his question: when would he be an apprentice?

he sighed and raised a paw to clean it, the time would come
