Battle Royale
The Rules 1. This is a giant war between every character on WCC that ever existed. Living, dead, Old Canon, New Canon, kits, elders, warriors, medicine cats, rogues, kittypets, etc. etc. When we say everyone, we mean everyone. Even Deomilites.
2. It's all a dream. No injuries, information, or general wackiness will carry into real life. At most, your character might say, "Wow, I just had the weirdest dream." Otherwise, the entire thread is inconsequential to the waking world.
3. Even though it's a dream, you have to stick to reality. That means you can't fly or shoot laser beams out of your mouth. Sorry.
4. Cats will be split between twenty teams. Teams will be randomized, and each team will have designated group leaders. Leaders, who'll just be ordinary members, will tell their "Clan" where to go and where to fight. Their actions will decide the course of the thread.
5. Battles are to the death. Cats who "die" in the Dream Territory will just "shatter" like glass. No cats can be revived, of course.
6. FOR THIS TOPIC ONLY: medicine cats are allowed to restore HP. However, they cannot do it while in combat, and the healing process takes three posts from the medicine cat while the injured character is RESTING (i.e. not while in the middle of a giant battle). In other words, if the injured character is attacked before the MC is finished, then the healing process is stopped and restarted. Individual medicine cats can heal three characters at a time. If the healing process is finished, then cats will regain a certain amount of HP. 35 for medicine cat apprentices, 50 for full medicine cats. No, medicine cats cannot heal themselves.
7. If you run out of SP while fighting, you are forced to retreat. SP is automatically restored in-between battles and during downtime.
8. It's not necessarily kill-or-be-killed, however. There should be downtime in-between fights, enough time for cats to talk and interact. Teams can also form alliances and make truces if they wish. However, everyone will be forced to fight each other in the end.
9. This will take place in the Lake Territory, because why the hell not? Teams will start in different places on the map and move around to try and find other teams. It'll take time to travel, so no, you can't just randomly teleport to the other side of the map, sorry.
10. We ask that your posts for individual characters be kept around or below 100 words. That might seem like a strange rule, but if we don't enforce something like this, then this whole thread is going to devolve into a giant mess. There's a good chance that this thread may stretch on for thirty pages or even longer. If everyone writes giant novels for each of their characters, then nobody's going to be able to keep track of anything. So please understand
Information Forms There's going to be many, many, many characters all gathered in the same topic. All these characters are going to be doing different things, engaged in different fights, all on different parts of the map. That's going to be confusing unless we do something. Really confusing.
So, you must put this information form in beginning of your post for every single character you own.
- Code:
-
[b]Name:[/b] [b]Team:[/b] [b]Rank:[/b] [b]Location:[/b] [b]HP:[/b] [b]SP:[/b] [b]Currently Fighting:[/b]
THIS IS A REQUIREMENT. It's not hard to fill out and will help everyone around you immensely.
Sign-Up Sheet
You can have as many characters in this as you want.
- Code:
-
Name: Rank: Potential team leader?:
This is your current rank. If your character is dead, then it's the rank at the time of their death. Remember that there are many different levels of 'warrior.' Make sure to define if they're a young warrior, senior warrior, etc. etc.
Team leaders will be picked by me. Preferably, we'll have a different person for every team, but that might not be possible. Obviously, there's a chance of team leaders dying halfway through, so there'll be a hierarchy of deputies and such. Those will be posted as well once teams are finalized.
Finalized teams will be posted here and in a separate thread, but if you're curious, here are all the team names and starting locations.
1. Red Team - ThunderClan camp 2. Pink Team - Clearing 3. Orange Team - Sky Oak 4. Yellow Team - Abandoned Twoleg nest, by the Old Thunderpath 5. Purple team - Moonpool 6. Green Team - Tunnels below WindClan and ThunderClan territory 7. Blue Team - ShadowClan camp 8. Brown Team - Twoleg nest 9. White Team - ShadowClan Greenleaf Twolegplace 10. Gray Team - Twoleg Paths 11. Gold Team - RiverClan camp 12. Indigo Team - RiverClan Greenleaf Twolegplace & Halfbridge 13. Teal Team - The Island 14. Cyan Team - Horseplace 15. Magenta Team - Twolegplace 16. Maroon Team - Broken Halfbridge 17. Black Team - WindClan camp 18. Amber Team - ThunderClan border with WindClan 19. Silver Team - Thunderpath 20. MO'FCKIN PERIWINKKKKKLLLLE - RiverClan border with Horseplace and the Island.
Help? Do you want to help? Then please volunteer! We really, really, really need it!
1. We need people to be keeping track of deaths and such and compiling it all somewhere for everyone to see it. Maybe in Google Docs or something, idk. It would be very helpful in keeping track of placements, numbers, and other essential information while the thread is unfolding.
2. Battle mods, of sorts. Due to the nature of the thread, things are probably going to be very hectic, and we have to ask everyone to self-moderate. That means politely correcting people when they make mistakes, and not turning the thread into a 45 page OOC screamfest. So please, everyone, pay attention and stay on top of things! Make sure nothing goes unnoticed. READ THE RULES.
3. Perhaps someone to keep track of team locations on the map. That'd be cool.
4. OTHER THINGS I'M FORGETTING.
If anyone has any questions or queries, do so below. Danke. ;^;
