| Snowfrost dropped the fresh kill in the pile before trotting back to the river to pick up the rest of her fish. Seeing that Rippletail was in the lead, she created a new tactic using the same strategy. Quickly, she pressed all of the remaining fish tails together and used water to make that thinner but not to the point they slip out of her mouth. She then run towards the camp using the same route she'd used before. The pike was lagging behind so she left it there so she could pick it up later and dashed into the camp.

| Due to the lack of fish Rippletail had caught, the tom only had four minnows left to deposit. He witnessed Snowfrost's tactic, but decided to use only part of it. He bunched the fish's tails together an clamped them in between his teeth. It was easy running back to camp, as the fish were only small so they barely reached the edge of his chest. If he were a fast runner, he would have overtaken his opponent, aided by the fact thatch was being dragged down by the pike. "You're doing well, is that your last load?" Rippletail puffed, glancing at the multiple fish dangling from her mouth. Despite the fact that his lungs were aching and he was talking, the tabby kept his pace up and wove through the reeds they were approaching. ______________________________________ Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. | "I had left the pike on the way," Snowfrost replied while the fish were in her mouth. "I'll be done after that." The she cat mewed before accelerating. She was reaching the camp and part of her felt tired, but she determined not to show it. Plus, she wanted to beat Rippletail at something again. The pretty cat skidded to a halt and placed the fish in the pile before dashing back to retrieve the pike. |
