With bleary eyes, Tigerpaw awoke to a voice telling him Locustcall was waiting. Blinking quickly, he caught the edge of Nightstar's pelt leaving the den, and adrenaline rushed through his system. With a gasp, he shot up like a lightning bolt, and maybe too loudly saying, "Yes Nightstar!" Sparing a glance at Asterpaw, the apprentice rushed out of the den, though not so quickly as to step on his clanmates.
Golden eyes spotted his mentor arriving at the entrance to camp, and Tigerpaw stood next to him. For a few heartbeats, he said nothing, but he couldn't help but ask, "Locustcall, what are we doing?" Though he was pleased to see the sun again, his sleep schedule had long since changed from his time as a loner, and that meant for the tom that it was early. Earlier than he had ever been gotten up to train before, and he'd never been woken by Nightstar for training.
