That's alright cause I'm with friends

Flameclaw sat in the middle of camp. The sun was bright today despite it being leaf-fall, and the heat leaving with each passing day. The deputy had recently gotten over a illness that prevented her from doing much. Now the she was back to doing her old stuff hunting, patrolling borders, organizing patrols, and stuff. Oh how she missed it.

It being in the middle of the day most of the clan would be busy, coming in and out of camp, but most still found time to sit down and relax. Delight filled the ginger cat as she thought of the good moments with her clan. Oh how she wished the good times would continue for moons.

Spottedstar glanced at her deputy, padding up to her after grabbing a smaller rabbit and stretching out. "Wanna share?" she asked.

The deputy blinked when her leader approached her. She took a moment before saying, "Yes." The deputy was still covered in scars from the fight with Skyclan not to long ago, and it was easy to notice where fur was growing back to normal length.

Pushing the prey halfway towards her, she shifted and mewed "How are the injuries going?" and took a bite, her long fur soft and light as the cold wind ruffled it. She wasn't attacked much, and her long fur was the only thing claws caught and ripped. Taking a bite of the rabbit, she quietly waited for her answer.

The deputy took a bite of the rabbit before answering her leader. "They are almost fully healed. Still a bit stiff when I wake up in the morning though." A leaf fell on the ginger cat, but she quickly shook it off. It wouldn't be long before leaf-bare showed up, and food would soon start to disappear.

Spottedstar nodded absently "Thats good, make sure you get a good stretch." she spaced off, staring at the maple, red, brown, and yellow leaves. It all looked beautiful, yet would soon turn deadly for their prey.

Flameclaw nodded, "How are you doing?" The deputy asked her leader after she took another bite of the rabbit. The deputy wasn't to concerned about leaf-bare coming, they've dealt with it before, they can deal with it now.

"I hope this leaf-bare goes well. Its my first as leader, and Dewstar knew what she was doing, and I can only hope I do well also" she mewed, stating the small fear of hers. She took another bite of the rabbit before looking at Flameclaw, waiting to assess her deputy's response.

The deputy looked at her leader, "Well you should know what you are doing. Everyone has lived through a leaf-bare, and nothing is going to change when it comes around. Just take it as we normally would." Flameclaw responded to Spottedstar. She knew she didn't quiet yet share a bond with Spottedstar that Spottedstar had with Dewstar was alive, but she hoped to get there.
