Into the world, Five kits arrive

Honeywhisker lay there, looking at the five kits that lay in front of her. She had already names them, without her mate. Midnightsky had made the same excuse as always, but it had lost its sincerity. She had just assumed that he didn't want anything to do with them. As she stared at all of them, she could only think of Ryefur, the first kit she had brought into the world. He seemed so brave, so strong, almost as if he were a leader. If only he were older, he might have been able to be the leader. These kits made her think of him, she could only hope they turned out like him. Four of the kits looked more like Midnightsky, or his father, Reedstar. The only kit that looked like Honeywhisker was Firekit. He was almost exactly like Honey, and he was the first kit that looked like her, out of three litters.

Fawnkit mewed. She opened her eyes for the first time, looking at her mother. She pushed her little legs forward, trying to scoot up. When she felt her mothers fur, she curled up. Mewing happily, she played with her tail, mewing and mewing.

Having her eyes still squeezed shut, wispkit turned her head towards her mothers scent quickly trying to get her paws and stumbling towards her a few times. But where was her father? Wispkit bumped into honeywhiskers flank unaware of her surroundings. With a sniff off her nose, it was confirmed that her mothers scent was coming from this cat. Curling down besides honeywhisker, Wispkit pressed into her mewling quietly.

Fawnkit twitched, bumping Waspkit with her paw. She yawned, and looked at herself. Then she looked at Waspkit. And then her mother. She curled up in a ball and began to doze off.

Mothkit, a weak and tiny kit, let her sleepiness take control. The brown tabby opened her eyes, soon closing them, feeling too tired to do anything as she felt her siblings squirm. Pushing closer towards her mother's warmth, Mothkit didn't care about anything else but to stay by her mother, keeping as many warmth as she could.

OOC: I guess volt and running aren't going through with it. in a week i will say their cats died.

IC: Honeywhisker couldn't figure out why the kits weren't suckling. They seemed hungry, yet they refused to do anything. All they did was try to warm themselves up. "C'mon." she whispered as she pulled the kits closer. She was starting to get worried at this point. Should I get the medicine cat? Mothkit and Fawnkit seemed stronger than Wispkit. They had opened their eyes earlier than expected, but it looked like Wispkit might have been weaker than the two. This only made her worry more. They were rejecting her milk, and now two of them had opened their eyes early. Had Wispkit been born weak, or had her siblings been born stronger than the usual kit? Either way, it seemed like Wispkit was the weakest of the litter.

As Mothkit was pushed closer to her mother's belly, the she-kit made a small, quiet squeal. Finally, the brown tabby kit started to suckle, getting the milk she needed. While suckling, Mothkit opened her eyes, but only saw her mother's fur as her face seemed to be pushed in Honeywhisker's belly.

Fawnkit woke up again. Mewing, she squirmed to her mothers belly, suckling. She got the milk she needed. She stopped, looking at her mothers face. She pawed her mothers tail, pawing it. Mewing, she rolled over, continuing to play with her tail.

SootKit shook his head and looked at his brothers and sisters. Nuzzling his mothers tummy he started suckling. He was a little hungry at the moment, but very stuff from staying still too long.
