Accidents Happen (Closed)

It was a dark night, much like most nights were. The moon was waning in the sky and Silverpelt was clearly visible against the deep blackness of the void that was space. When Darkfrost stepped into the shadows, his pelt melted into them and only his sharp green eyes were visible. When the moonlight shone off of him, his dark gray pelt turned into a milky gray-blue color and his eyes glowed even brighter. He was alone this particular night, having been too restless to sleep and too tired to hunt. He had come instead to Fourtrees to behold the glory of the four great oaks and their silhouettes against the glittering stars and to think on his empty thoughts. Darkfrost sat and stared numbly at the Great Rock, a silver she-cat on his mind.

You look like something's on your mind.... Care to share? Came an amused mreow. It was ThunderClan's very own Firefly; orange pelt and all. She was taking her usual late night stroll. Totally not rigging traps. No.

His ears flicked and his head whipped to the side, having been spooked by the sudden appearance of the ThunderClan she-cat. He was a little wary, but realized that she probably didn't intend harm. "Oh, I didn't hear you coming." Darkfrost said, trying to make up for the fact that he'd acted like a little wuss. "And... no. I don't really know you that much."

"You do have a point there..." She mewed thoughtfully. "You don't know me. But even still I can at least distract you for a few ." She strutted about the tom, flicking him with her tail every now and again. He was handsome, and probably had a mate. But who cared? What was a little fun now and again? "I'm Firefly. Pleasure to meet you."

This she-cat was getting closer to him than he felt comfortable with, but he stayed put and didn't protest. She was rather pretty, with a fiery pelt that was unusual in his clan of grays and browns and  had a daring demeanor that was a stark contrast to his stiff denmates. "I'm Darkfrost." Firefly had a strange effect, filling him with interest. "I think I would like to know you." It was just curiosity, what harm could come of it? He reasoned with himself, thinking that it was normal to have friends outside of Clans, especially in the ally Clans. It couldn't hurt to get to better know the cat who might save your pelt in a battle someday.

"Darkfrost... Suits you well." Instead of sitting in front of her new friend, she decided to sit beside him. It was so easy to make a WindClan cat uncomfortable: all you had to do was make physical contact with one and you could feel the air around them grow tense. She liked to do that at gatherings sometimes. It was fun. "You think you would like to know me?" Firefly glanced at the tom for a second, then turned to view the grand tree not far away. "It's either you know or you don't. I can't tell you anything about me if you're going to ask so vaguely."

"Er... okay. I know I'd like to know you." Did that make sense? Probably not, but he wasn't really paying any attention to his own words. She seemed surprisingly eager to just rub against him, as if his very discomfort was somehow rewarding.
