Such a peaceful day. In fact, too peaceful! Coalheart looked at the river. It was temting. She thought for a moment, then grinned. "Ready for a scuffle?" Coalheart asked no one in particular. She flexed her claws, and waded into the river. The ThunderClan warrior swam poorly, but still made it to the other side... RiverClan's side. "Oh, RiverClan!" Coalheart hissed loudly.

Shimmerpaw was hunting when she heard someone Splash into the river. By the sound of it, it was either a fish that didn't know how to swim, or an intruder. She sniffed the air. Thunderclan! She darted through Riverclan's territory until she reached the enemy. "You get off of Riverclan's territory or else we'll tear you to shreds!" She yelled as she unsheathed her claws and prepared for a fight.

Coalheart laughed. "Relax, little apprentice!" she taunted.

Shallowpaw heard his mate shouting, and ran to her side. "Shimmerpaw! Wha-" he broke off mid-sentence when he saw the ThunderClan cat. "Get off of our territory!" he hissed, sticking to Shimmerpaw like a burr.

"Wow, that's the best you got? I knew Thunderclan was lame, but not that lame!" She smirked and moved closer to Shallowpaw. "Hi," she whispered quietly so that only he could hear.

Coalheart snarled and bristled. "At least we don't stink like fish!" She hissed, and started to crouch. The warrior stopped when she saw the she-cat whisper something to to the tom. They looked nothing alike, so they must be either best friends or mates. She saw the tom quickly lick her cheek, obviously hoping she didn't see. Yep, mates! "Mates, huh?" she murmured. Then she grinned and leaped on the tom, hoping to hurt him to hurt his mate.

Shallowpaw glared at the ThunderClan cat. "Hi, Shimmerpaw," he whispered and licked her cheek quickly. He saw the warrior stiffen, and he knew she'd seen. She whispered something, and grinned evilly. All of a sudden, his pelt burned with scratches, and he was covered in gray fur.

Shimmerpaw leaped out of the way when she saw the warrior fly to her, but she soon noticed that she attacked Shallowpaw. "You stay off of him, you mouse heart!" She yelled as she ran and slammed into Coalheart's side.

Shimmerpaw used run-and-tackle on Coalheart dealing 20 damage and using 10 stamina

Coalheart was dazed for a second, then reared up and slashed wildly at the RiverClan cat. "Take that, fox dung!"

Coalheart used Rear-up to Slash on Shimmerpaw dealing 17 damage and using 10 stamina.

Shallowpaw hissed and sprang at Coalheart, and hoped to do some heavy damage.

Shimmerpaw backed up and fell over. She felt weak and her wounds hurt. She hadn't fought much, but the warrior was bigger and stronger than her. She eventually pulled herself up, and retreated into the water, knowing that she couldn't fight anymore unless she wanted herself killed. "Shallowpaw!" She called. "Don't kill yourself!"

Coalheart felt herself getting weaker and weaker at each blow the apprentices threw at her. "Okay, okay! I'll leave!" she yowled, dashing to ThunderClan territory.

Shallowpaw snickered weakly, then darted over to his mate. "Are you okay, Shimmerpaw?" he asked while helping her up and taking her to camp.

"I think I am..." She said as she stumbled to camp. "Nice job, feating that stupid Thunderclan cat!" Shimmerpaw said as she licked her mate's cheek. Once they arrived at camp, she went off to the Med. Cats den to get her wounds treated.
