Deadfrost slid out of the warriors' den, and stretched his limbs, then padded to the apprentices' den. "Hey, you guys!" he called. "I have something fun for you to do!"

"Really?" Beechpaw's head popped out of a pile of fur. "I need something to do!!"

"Well, I think this will fit perfectly, then," he purred. "I thought you guys might want something to do."

"Yay!" she jumped up and ran out the apprentice den. "So what is it?"

"When the others wake, I'll tell you," he meowed, amused.

Sandpaw got up,"why can't you just take us?!" she asked

"Oh, fine. I was thinking of having a little ThunderClan only hunting and fighting competition, you know, to get you guys off your hindquarters for a bit," he laughed. "Would you be interested?"

"like I would ever!!!" Sandpaw yowled happily,"are we going to start now?" she asked impationtly

"Be patient, Sandpaw!" He flicked her ear tip with his tail. "I guess the other apprentices are out training, so sure. Come with me." He flicked his tail and began to pad out of camp.

"ok!" she said happily,"come on Beechpaw!" hs esaid behind her shoulder letting her tail hit her sister's muzzle

Leopardheart poked her head out. "What is this I hear about a competition?"

Deadfrost looked back at Leopardheart. "Oh, I'm sorry!" He hurried over to her. "I should have told you earlier. I was just thinking to take some apprentices out to do a little hunting at fighting competition," he meowed. "they seemed bored yesterday."

"ya, and maybe get some more training in!" Sandpaw said happily

Leopardheart nodded. "Mind if I watch?"

"Of course you can," he replied. "Who am I to say you can't?" he purred. "Better hurry, or those apprentices will start without us!"
