The meeting at midnight

A black and white Tom cat silently padded out of Shadowclan's camp and headed to the Thunderpath. It was a little before moon high, and the dark night was silent. Badgerpaw thought about who he was going to meet at the Thunderpath. How did Heatherpaw get me to like her? This is weird. I've never knew anyone that I liked this much before. Not even my mom, and especially not my dad. As he thought, the ground under his paws suddenly changed. He looked down and noticed that he was in the middle of the Thunderpath. He ran as fast as he could back to Shadowclan's side and took a deep breath before grooming his fur, making sure that it was nice and clean for Heatherpaw, his forbidden Windclan mate.

Heatherpaw snuck out of the Apprentices' den, making sure not to sleep on a snoring denmate that was closest to the entrance. She danced past the camp guard without being noticed. Escaping the camp, she breathed in the fresh air and hurried to the Thunderpath. Before she got to the edge of the territory that wasn't the road, she groomed herself till her fur shone in the light.

Badgerpaw looked around as he waited for Heatherpaw. Where is she? He thought. He was impatient. He started padding across the Thunderpath onto Windclan's territory, soon he saw who he was looking for. "Heatherpaw!" He called, suddenly remembering to be quiet.

Heatherpaw looked up and bounded to her ShadowClan mate. "Hey Badgerpaw!" she called quietly.

Badgerpaw rubbed his muzzle against her neck. "Heatherpaw, how are we going to keep our relationship if we're in different clans? What if we get caught?" He suddenly felt sick about the idea of him and Heatherpaw getting caught and aren't allowed to see each other again.

"I can persuade them not to do anything to us, you saw how I could persuade you!" Heatherpaw meowed. "Besides, we can always say we're going hunting and meet at Gatherings."

Badgerpaw smirked a little as Heatherpaw said 'you saw how I persuaded you'. "Your right, I shouldn't be worried. So..." Badgerpaw had no idea what to do with someone he loved. This was the first time this ever happened to him.

Heatherpaw purred and rubbed her head on Badgerpaw's neck. "So.. what now?" she grinned mischeviously.

Badgerpaw thought for a moment. "Hmm I'm not sure." He looked around and tried to think of something to do. He saw Heatherpaw's grin and knew that she was probably thinking of no-good. "What are you thinking?" He asked, playfully.

She didn't answer, just sat there and grinned.

"Heatherpaw!" Badgerpaw lightly pawed at his mate. "Tell me!"

"I was just thinking about us," she purred.

Badgerpaw laughed. "Ok, if you say so!" He wrapped his tail around her's.

She giggled and pinned him down, licking his cheek.

Badgerpaw purred. It seemed funny to him because it was his first time.
