SkyClan's Revenge [PLOT]

Rainspot shot out of her nest at the sudden call. Before she could comprehend what her leader and deputy were saying, the taste of two clans hit her tongue. "Riverclan and Skyclan.", she hissed under her breath. The grey elder stood tall and strode out of the den, even if her joints weren't agreeing with the sudden movement. "I'll tell the kits to hide in their nests. If in the scenario that the fight is taken to camp, I will take the kits to a different area of the forest immediately. However, I'll protect this camp as far as I can go before that will happen!", the aged cat meowed to Dewstar. With that, the she-cat jogged into the nursery, starting with step one of her plan.

Foxfang perked his ears at a low, rumbling sound. Growling? No, it was the sound of many pawsteps running towards.. Thunderclan! The ginger tom heard loud shouts from inside camp, even if he wasn't in it. Abandoning the mouse he had been attempting to hunt, he raced towards the entrance to his home, arriving just in time to her Dewstar's battle plans and be able to join Spottedfeather's ground attack crew.

The white warrior crashed through the bushes without a second thought, brambles and vines scoring through his shiny black spotted pelt. He took care to stay in stride with his partner as he followed the cruesade of cats charging through the undergrowth, somewhat oblivious that Thunderclan was awakened and nearly ready to defend themselves.

A younger tom bounded across a tree branch above, as it was now one of his favorite places to be, even to fight. His mostly brown pelt blended into the tree branch, with the white a small sign of his postition. He raced along, often glancing towards his 'buddy', wherever she might be. Maplepaw couldn't help but wonder though, why were they attacking Thunderclan in the first place?

Flameclaw was resting on the ground letting the sun soak in her fur when she heard something about intruders. The orange she-cat quickly got to her feet and over to Dewstar to hear commands. With a growl and hatred growing in her olive green eyes, Flameclaw stood near her mother, and her leader flexing her claws ready to defend her land.

Emberpaw's eyes widened in surprise at being picked by Dewstar for such an important task. Nodding in reply, she immediately darted out of the camp entrance and up a tree, taking no time to stop and catch her breath as she leapt from tree to tree, though she made sure to line up her jumps so that she didn't slip and fall. As she passed over the attacking group, she mentally cringed as she saw Splashpaw running alongside them. Having just barely snuck past a Skyclan warrior in the trees, she continued on her way to Windclan. A few minutes later she carefully slipped down one of the four great oaks in Fourtrees. Taking a few seconds to catch her breath, she continued into Windclan territory hurriedly, mouth open to catch the scent of a patrol that may be passing by.

Splashpaw sighed in a mix of sorrow and slight anger, glumly running alongside her new Skyclan clanmates and Riverclan warriors and apprentices. She hated the idea of fighting Thunderclan, who she still considered her clan. Though Riverclan and Skyclan didn't know it yet, she was totally being a naughty apprentice and fighting for Thunderclan. Maybe, just maybe, Dewstar would take her back. Seeing the first warrior approach, whom she recognized as Spottedfeather, she barreled into Skypaw and hissed, "You stay away from Thunderclan!" Though she knew that Spottedfeather could hold her own in battle, Skypaw seemed to be a good match for her, especially as she was the closest apprentice to Splashpaw.

Splashpaw used Run-and-Tackle on Skypaw, dealing 15 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Streamfern leapt down from the trees as they approached the defending patrol, landing on Foxfang with a hiss. "Who's a rogue now, huh?" Digging her claws into his ginger fur, she narrowed her eyes in anger. "Don't mess with Skyclan!"

Streamfern used Sky Drop on Foxfang, dealing 27 damage and costing 35 stamina.

Swirledpaw yowled and continued to Thunderclan's camp as some of the Skyclan cats attacked the few Thunderclan warriors that had dashed out of their camp. Seeing an elder padding hurriedly into what seemed to be the nursery as she tore through the entrance, she leapt on top of her, digging her claws into the elder's fur without mercy.

Swirledpaw used Leap-and-Hold on Rainspot, dealing 14 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Otterpaw had been looking around eagerly when he sprang into the clearing with the others. What he least expected was a cat to leap out of nowhere in the air - he hadn't been paying attention to the trees, assuming only SkyClan used them - and was quickly pinned to the ground. He growled under his breathe, "Mouse-heart." He spat, "Get off and fight me like a real warrior!" The brown tom struggled to get free, rearing his back.

And, since everyone else is doin' this thing apparently, we're gonna assumed Silent/Silver left and Breezetail followed quickly. When he rushed into the camp, everyone else was running at each other and leaping into the undergrowth, into the surrounding forest. "Quailpaw, get into the trees and find someone to attack! I'll follow." The tom told his apprentice, seeing another cat down. He ran forward quickly, leaping a vast amount of space amongst the clearing and twisting once he hit the ground - the momentum possibly enough to send his victim flying.

Breezetail used 'run-and-tackle', dealing 23 damage and using 10 stamina.

Lilyclaw looked up ahead with an eager grin on her face, the trees starting to clear out, making them far easier to jump through. With bright eyes, she glanced at Mistfeather. "Come on!" she meowed almost happily, leaping into the nearest branch with a powerful jump, then to the next, and the next, until she was practically sprinting through the tree-tops. She narrowed her eyes at the first cat that she saw, running forward and springing - she tackled the she-cat, throwing them back to the ground. "You should've never doubted us!" She shouted.

Morningpaw was hiding in the shadows as the Clans broke into the fight. She didn't know what to do; she didn't want to fight but she was a warrior apprentice still, even if she wanted to become a medicine cat. However, as she skirted around in the shadows, she saw Rainspot heading to the nursery to defend the kits when an apprentice attacked her. Her eyes narrowed; almost unable to believe what she just saw. She hissed slightly as she suddenly broke into a run and raced from the shadows toward the two cats. Rainspot didn't have to be involved in this; she was an elder and just wanted to keep the kits safe! With a yowl, she jumped and tackled Swirledpaw. "LEAVE HER ALONE!"

While Otterpaw was recovering and Quailpaw was nearby, the warrior let out a snarl as he felt another apprentice run at him, trying to do the same thing as he had done to Swiftpaw, but ultimately doing little damage to the SkyClan warrior. He turned to look at the fiery tom, with the scent of fresh-prey on him. He wondered how he'd managed to return from hunting and sprint though the entire crowd of RiverClan and SkyClan cats, but he supposed it didn't matter. This cat would be out of the picture in a moment anyways. He grabbed the apprentice by the shoulders, twisting around and raking his hindclaws against the younger cat's belly before throwing him away. "You really shouldn't have done that..."

IC: One moment he was running, and the next the battle was joined, with ThunderClan cats streaming out from all sides to meet their attack. Reedstar grit his teeth and looked around, trying to find one familiar silver pelt in the chaotic mix of fur. His eyes locked onto a hulking she-cat, with a long scar across her shoulder and gray markings. He ran, leaped, and for a moment he had wings, flying through the air with claws outstretched. With a yowl, he barreled into her side and tackled her to the ground in a tumble of claws and limbs. "I warned you," he hissed under his breath, before clenching his jaws shut around the scarred shoulder.

One moment Silverstorm was running beside his Clanmates, the next the forest seemed to explode. For a moment he was frozen. A battle. An actual battle. The nervousness, the doubt, the fear, he swallowed it all down, and let anger overtake it. I'll bring down ThunderClan myself.

Dustfang growled and whipped his head around to face the deputy. "What are you standing there for? Let's go!"

Silverstorm nodded, new resolve taking root inside him, and locked his eyes on the first cat he saw. A white tortoiseshell, white splotches, black tabby markings, fighting his Clanmate... There was no time to think about where he'd seen her or who she was. His mind seemed to go blank as he scrambled up the nearest tree, dashed across a thick creaking branch hanging low by the forest floor, and leaped, claws unsheathed.

Dustfang nodded as the deputy scrambled out of sight and took the cue, picking his way up a bent and ancient ash tree. Climbing had come naturally to him. It wasn't much different from the buildings back in the Twolegplace where he'd been born and grown up, and he'd become a master at scaling up sheer walls and fences, slipping into holes and climbing over dumpsters. Trees seemed almost easy compared to that. He clambered up a silver trunk, and waited, balancing on top of a branch, watching until... There. With a feral grin, he unsheathed his claws and dashed across the branch until he was right overhead before dropping without a sound, right onto the warrior's back. Battling. This was what he was made for. "Surprise."

With a rush of battle surging through her, Silentstar dashed after Reedstar in brisk steps, ducking her way stealthily among the undergrowth. Perhaps it was dark and murky down here, but the trees sure enough were familiar at the very least. The SkyClan leader managed with ease to navigate through and soon enough, war raged and blood was being spilled. For the silver she-cat, she had deliberately gone for Dewstar. Hissing with anger and her heart pounding with rage, Silentstar growled as she slashed at the ThunderClan leader, "I can't believe you're the same clan that sheltered us when the Deomilities attacked! You're nothing like the ThunderClan I know..." Under her breath, the long-lost leader had added on in the faintest voice, 'tyrant'. As soon as Reedstar struck with immense power, the SkyClan leader followed quickly with rapid succession of both paws striking at the leader's muzzle.

Willowstream gave a slight nod to Streamfern, following the she-cat up the trees of ThunderClan and leaping further and further each time, nearly stumbling once or twice. Leaping powerfully with whatever strength her hind legs could use, the midst of battle for her started soon after her partner struck Foxfang from the trees. Tackling the tom with her own frail weight to the ground, she knew, with due time, that SkyClan would and should be accepted. However, this battle still didn't feel right for her, and as such, she hesitated slightly with her own offensive skills.

Willowstream used Leaping Bound, costing 25 stamina and 25 HP. Foxfang has been defeated.

SkyClan Foxfang (which is probably best if we just call him that from now on) dug his claws into a tree and made his way up. He began making his way from tree to tree, his paws not staying in one place for long as he picked up speed, before leaping down and tackling the first cat he could. He heard a snap behind him, and a branch along with a bunch of leaves scattered on the ground behind him.

Mistfeather smiled at Lilyclaw, happy to have a partner. Though she looked at the other warrior who had asked before retreating, feeling bad. Nonetheless, that was all forgotten when the battle started. Mistfeather chased after her friend, just as happy as she was, staying on her tail as they raced through the trees. Mistfeather felt most at home amongst the leaves and with a view of the ground below her. She loved the freedom it granted her, as if she was actually a bird in the sky. After Lilyclaw leaped down on to a ThunderClan enemy, Mistfeather stopped on the branch she had been on, leaping off and landing gracefully behind the pair. While Spottedfeather's attention was on Lilyclaw, Mistfeather jumped in and bit down hard on the cat's scruff, before shaking her head back and forth violently.

Mistfeather used Scruff Shake, 13 damage, using 25 stamina. Spottedfeather is stunned for one turn.
