Bonekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Thrushstripe jumped onto Jaggedrock to call yet another meeting. It was time for another ceremony. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" he yowled loudly.

Bonekit rushed out of the den, standing behind everyone else to watch the ceremony. She pawed the ground eagerly as she thought to herself, I am 6 moons, is this my ceremony?. Her tail swung idly as she waited to hear of who's ceremony it was.

When the cats gathered, Thrushstripe continued. "Today we gather to make this kit an apprentice. Bonekit, from today until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Bonepaw. Lionstrike will be your mentor. May he pass on everything he knows," he said before jumping off the rock as the ceremony finished. It didn't last long, but they normally didn't.

Bonekit immediately leaped with joy, mentally she was screeching. She calmed herself and walked to her new mentor, touching noses as she proudly walked to the apprentice den to meet her new den-mates.
