Stormheart glanced up at the clear sky. It was a nice day today considering it was still Leaf-Bare. The air wasn't too hot or too cold, and there was a gentle breeze every now and then. She padded by the side of the river, enjoying a walk by herself. It hadn't been long since the attack on Shadowclan, and the she-cat still hadn't figured out who had killed her sister. She dearly wanted to know, but made sure it wouldn't get in the way of her duties. She knew that wouldn't do her any good, and thinking about it now, her gentle, sweet sister probably wouldn't want her to be depressed all the time over her death. They always had wanted the best for each other, and Stormheart wished she could have done more to help her when she was alive. Thinking about it now was getting her a little down though, and decided that she'd focus on being the best warrior she could be, and when she had free time, work to figure out who Hailwhisper's killer had been.
The tabby paused, glancing down at the river. A few smaller fish swam by as they hurried downstream, maybe to breeding grounds or something. Stormheart sat down, glancing back to make sure her shadow was behind her and not where the fish might spot it and swim away. She went completely still, one paw raised slightly, and lashed it out as a glint of silver shot by. She scooped the fish out of the water into the air, grinning as she saw how big it was. What a lucky catch! She quickly snapped her jaws around it and pinned it to the grass beside her, killing it with a swift click of her teeth through its flesh.
She perked her ears, hearing someone coming. Who could it be?
