Adderpaw, Flamepaw, Mousepaw, and Splotchpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Dewstar still felt stiff as she scaled the Highrock, though she was glad she could move at all. Her injuries had kept her from doing her normal duties and made that pesky medicine cat fret over her. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting! She yowled loudly. It was nice to be back on top of the rock after such a long time, believe it or not.

Adderpaw was the first one to stroll outside and sit calmly down near the front of the Highrock. He knew what today was.

WARRIOR DAYYYY!

Rookheart stepped out of the warriors den and went over to Highrock. She saw Adderpaw and her eyes twinkled with pride. He may be her adoptive brother, but he was still her brother. "Psst! Adderpaw!" she whispered as she sat a little ways away from him.

Dawnpaw walked into the clearing with tingling paws. Adderpaw was going to become a warrior! And so was mousepaw! Trying to control her excitement she took a seat next to adderpaw and waited for it to begin.

Flamepaw bounded out of the apprentice den, trying to lick his fur clean while getting over to Highrock as fast as he could. He plopped down next to Adderpaw, gave his chest fur another quick groom, then look expectantly at Dewstar.

Spottedflight, meanwhile, had made her way over from the fresh kill pile. As she took her place, she couldn't help but glance over at her apprentice with pride.

((OOC:I would like his name to be Flamegaze, if that's okay))

Nightpaw limped out of the medicine den, gazing sadly at his siblings, and other apprentices, which were getting their warrior ceremonies. He decided to just stay away and sit awkwardly by the medicine den.

Spottedfeather came out of the warriors den, looking to all the apprentices who were becoming warriors that day. Her gaze caught Nightpaw, who sat sadly in the corner. She went over and nudged him affectionately before going to the rest of her kits. "Good job, all of you. You guys have been great" she mewed, purring. She looked to Splotchpaw, who was her apprentice. She smiled to her, and then to Adderpaw and Flamepaw.

Rainspot looked up from the fresh-kill pile and smiled. Coming a little closer, her eyes glittered with pride for her apprentice, Flamepaw. Looking up towards Dewstar, she waited for the ceremony to continue.

Ic: Adderpaw glanced back at his older sister, Rookheart, with curiosity. "What is it?" He whispered back, then nodded in greeting to Dawnpaw and Flamepaw.

Swiftnose sat beside Nightpaw, knowing that he felt dismayed. He nodded politely to Spottedfeather before she returned to the rest of her kits. He gave the injured tom a reassuring lick on the shoulder.

Sunpaw would've sat close to Adderpaw, but there were so many cats... instead, she sat off to the side. She didn't even know what was happening. She just watched Adderpaw and his Clanmates react, feeling a bit of jealousy sting her paws as Dawnpaw sat by him.

Dewstar looked down at her Clan, pleased. "Splotchpaw, Mousepaw, Flamepaw, and Adderpaw, please step forward."

Adderpaw stepped forward, not getting to hear what Rookheart had to say. Well, whatever. Surely she could tell him later. He stood tall, with his chest puffed out just slightly and his chin up as he watched Dewstar with a strong, mossy-green gaze. I'm ready for whatever you have to throw at me. I'll protect Thunderclan with my life, as a warrior! He thought, feeling the warm sun shine on his back, the black and brown mix of color turning a sort of bronze.

The small to-be warrior took a step forward, glancing back and forth along the line of apprentices. Her wounds itched constantly, but she held still, not wanting to make a huge mousebrain of herself in front of her entire clan. Heart beating fast, Splotchpaw looked up at her leader, blue eyes wide.

Mousepaw was so excited! Today was the big day! She had bounded out of the apprentice's den with so much excitement she almost barreled over the other apprentices that were having their ceremonies as well. Taking her spot, she quickly stepped forward as Dewstar had asked them to do. Oh man, oh man. What was her warrior name going to be? She really had no idea on what to guess. Hopefully it was going to be something good!!

Rookheart watched excitedly as her brother sat, waiting to get his warrior name. She twitched with anticipation for him.

Flamepaw stepped forward with the rest of the apprentices, trying to stifle a purr of excitement. It was finally here! His amber eyes stayed locked on Dewstar as he tried to control his excitement. Warriors didn't act like that, did they?

"I, Dewstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn." Her gaze swept across all four apprentices before continuing. "Do you four promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"
