Mousepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled from the rock.

Mousepaw padded out of the apprentice den and sat down, his usual grumpy face on.

Looking down at Mousepaw, he continued speaking with a rather relieved feeling. He was thankful to have more warriors. "Tonight, we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," he said. "Mousepaw, please step forward."

Mousepaw stepped forward.

Keeping his eyes on the apprentice, Thrushstar continued. "Mousepaw, do you promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

"Yes," Said Mouepaw

"Then from today on, you will be known as Mouseclaw," Thrushstar stated. "We welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan." With that, he leaped off of the rock for the rest of the clan to finish his ceremony.
