Snowfaces adventure

Ooc: Wait what? I wasn't expecting this to be a death topic o-o
*unexpected twist*

Ic: Not seeing the medicine cats anywhere, Redpaw shook his head and ran back, only to find Snowface lying cold and lifeless on the ground. He padded over nervously and stood over the body, eyes wide. "...I didn't...I couldn't find them in time. I'm sorry...It's my fault." He murmured quietly, looking in his paws. For the first time in his life, Redpaw felt sad about a death in another clan. Though he knew he had something to do with it; he couldn't find the medicine cats in time, and therefor failed his mentor's orders. He failed to perhaps save this young cat's life. He had always thought that death in another clan wasn't such a big deal, that it was better for Shadowclan. But now he suddenly realized that he was terribly, terribly wrong.

Ooc: And Redpaw's personality took a turn for the better suddenly.

OOC: Whale then.... I have no idea how Spottedfeather should react to this, poor her. She has been traumatized lately XD

IC: Spottedfeather stood shocked before her dead clanmates body before closing her eyes in grief. She didn't know how to react. Standing still, she stayed next to the body, herself trapped in a daze. How could her clanmate just die like that?

Thrushstripe had been just as shocked as the she-cat suddenly passed away before their eyes. It was very strange and actually a little unexpected, but with the damages done, it very well killed her. When Redpaw returned, the deputy glanced over at his apprentice with a sobered look on his face. It had gotten to the point for Thrushstripe that the death did in face affect him, but his heart had grown more into a stone. While he could empathize with the Thunderclan deputy, he didn't have much to say. "Don't blame yourself, Redpaw. You were doing what you were supposed to do," he replied softly before turning to Spottedfeather. "Would you like some help to carry your clan mate back to your camp?" he asked, his voice suddenly full of support and sadness for the she-cat's loss.

Spottedfeather looked to Thrushstripe, seeing sadness of both his and Redpaws face. "Yes please, and thank you." she mewed, she lifted Snowface's body be her scruff, waiting for Thrushstripe to lift her other end.

Thrushstripe nodded and helped pick up Snowface. Turning back for a second, he looked at Redpaw. "Thank you Redpaw for trying to help. Go back to camp. I'll be back soon, alright?" he asked before heading towards Thunderclan with Spottedfeather.

Redpaw nodded slowly. "Okay..." He replied, shaking his head to clear it. The whole incident was so sudden and shocking. It was probably best to head back to camp, anyways. So he turned around, and ran back as told.
