Wrenkit's Adventure

"I'll come with you," Wrenkit mewed. "How much more is there? How many cats are there?"

"There is the warrior den, the elder den, the leaders den, highrock, and if any cats want to chat on the way, then we can." Spottedfeather padded out of the den waving bye to Swiftpaw and going toward the warriors den.

"Cool," Wrenkit smiled and followed Spottedfeather with a spring in his step. He flicked his tail anxiously, excited to see the rest of the camp.

She pointed our the leaders den and Highrock. "We can't go inside unless you ask permission. But for now we can go see the warriors den and the elders den." she padded to the warriors den and looked inside. No one. "You can peek inside, no one is asleep."

The kit took a small step forward into the empty warriors' den. The scents of many different cats hung in the air. "Why do all the warriors sleep in one den?" he asked.

"Because that is just their rank and why wouldn't they? Should we seperate them? Does it really matter?" she smiled as she question the young kit. She wanted to see his opinion on the matter, which had never come to her mind.

"I don't know," Wrenkit replied with a small twitch of the tail. "I guess not. So are all the dens separated by Clan rank?"

"Yes they are. Now lets go see Highrock and you can see where the leaders den is, but we can't go in."Spottedfeather led the kit to Highrock, seeing the rock tower over them. "This is Highrock, and the leaders den is right over there, underneath it." she pointed underneath the big rock, where a drape was.

"So the leader gets the entires den all to themselves? Do they get lonely?" the small tom wondered aloud.

"Well if they have a mate, then they won't be lonely, but I guess it could get lonely in there" she smiled lightly. She would never want to be lonely. But being leader could always have the knowledge that the whole clan is there, with them. So they aren't truly alone. "You want to go to the elders den? You can talk to the elders and listen to stories."

OOC: There are no elders but this you could just go in and it be end of topic.

"Sure," he said with a wide grin. Wrenkit was quite the lover of stories, and even the most dull tales would keep him entertained.

"Go in to there, and tell them that I sent you. Plus I have to get to my deputy duties. See ya Wrenkit! I'll see you soon, and maybe as an apprentice that time!" she smiled and walked off, thinking of evening patrols.

Wrenkit quietly padded into the elders' den and took a seat. He talked to the older cats for awhile and listened to their fascinating stories until he became tired and had to go back to the nursery for the night.
