Swiftkit's Mecidine Cat Apprentice Ceremony

Mossstar trotted into the nursery trying to locate a certain kit. Then he found him, and prodded him gently "Swiftkit wake up."

Swiftkit's eyes opened to see his leader standing next to him. He excitedly sat up, trying to keep himself from waking up the other kits who were still sleeping peacefully as he rushed out of the cramped den to breathe in the fresh air, barely holding back a squeal of sheer delight.

Mossstar led the kit from the nursery then meowed quietly "You have been chosen by StarClan to be the medicine cat of ThunderClan. Hailstorm has agreed to be your mentor."

((Do the medicine cat apprentices go to highstones for their ceremony? I think so right?))

"Chosen? By StarClan?" The kit's excitement grew even more, until he heard the name Hailstorm. "I've never heard of Hailstorm before..." he said nervously.

OOC: Yes indeedy~

A cream, white, and brown tom with half folded ears padded by the leader and smiled down at the kit and then looked back at the black tom. "Good morning Mossstar," He greeted cheerfully. "And this must be the little medicine cat." He said, leaning down to look at the kit in the eyes. "My name is Hailstorm, nice to meet you." He smiled.

Mossstar dipped his head to the ShadowClan cat, but didn't let his guard down. They had just attacked them after all. "Are both of you ready to go to Highstones?" he asked, not so eager to go back to that place but he had too.

The kit smiled earnestly at Hailstorm, who carried a strange smell. He looked nice and gentle- perfect for a mentor."Yeah, I'm ready. I can't wait, this'll be so cool!" Swiftkit bounced around some before stretching to the tips of his toes, trying to match Hailstorm in size. He didn't really look that big next to the leader or the medicine cat, though.

Hailstorm nodded, turning away and walking to the Highstones I hope this kit can keep up. He chuckled to himself at the thought.

Hailstorm flickered his tail for the kit the follow. "Mossstar I'm going to have to ask you to stay here, while we go inside." He said, with out a moment for Mossstar to respond.

Swiftkit panted from the long journey. He was glad they were finally there, but it was late and all he wanted to do was take a long nap. He was curious when Hailstorm said they would have to leave Mossstar behind, but didn't ask because he was too tired to really care.

Mossstar sighed but nodded, then he laid down beside the entrance and laid his head on his big black paws.
