MAN LOOK AT ALL THESE KITTIES

It was a gorgeous morning when Cinderfur padded back into camp with a lovely mouthful of beautiful, glistening fish. She had decided to try to make a short little hunting trip this morning and had amazingly been quite successful, but as she walked in, she realized that there wasn't really anyone around that she could share it all with. It was like the place had been deserted. Slightly saddened by the fact that no one was there to see how well she had done with her suckish hunting, she quickly made her way to the freshkill pile before placing it all down and grabbing her something to eat. Man, she was really hungry. It was just a small fish that she had caught while out, and because it had just been caught, it was amazing to eat! She didn't even realize how starving she was until she finally dug into the fish, her face beaming with joy as ALL THE KITTIES CAME OUT TO PLAY.

Hazelkit was peeking out of the nursery when she saw Cinderfur come back to camp. She slowly approached and greeted her. "H-Hi! Did you just come back from hunting?" she meowed shyly.

Sandkit looked from the nursery, where Hazelkit had just left. He was the size of a new apprentice now, but he wasn't going to complain. The glistening fish that the warrior dropped in the pile made Sandkit's stomach roar with hunger. But how could he approach these cats? He slowly stalked around their field of vision, fear and anxiety pricking at him. Meeting new people wasn't really his thing. But those fish were practically taunting him by now.

Hazelkit felt her stomach grumble and she turned around to the fresh kill pile. As she was picking up the fish Cinderfur had just brought she spotted Sandkit. She saw that he was eying the same fish so she offered some. "Umm... Hi! Y-You wanna share?" She pushed it over.

OOC: well, I was hoping a bunch of people would join ;-; oh well :'D

Cinderfur suddenly glanced up as she heard the pitter-patter of the small kits' feet. Two little kits came out to play and they all looked so adorable! She actually hadn't met any of them, but she wanted to. They were, after all, going to be the future of the clan! "I did just get back from hunting. Definitely help yourselves!" She purred as she began eating her fish again. The two kits seemed to be fine on their own with one fish to share between them. Surely that would be enough, but who knew. Maybe they ate a lot. "What are your names, little ones?" she asked curiously.

Hazelkit looked up sort of startled that a warrior would talk to her. "I-I'm Hazelkit. Who are you?"

Sandkit nodded shyly to Hazelkit and had taken a few hungry bites when the dark warrior approached. He flinched and pressed himself against the ground, trying to make himself seem insignificant. The largest cat he'd seen was Lightpaw, and this she-cat was even bigger!

The she-cat stifled a soft laugh as she approached Sandkit, quickly giving him a reassuring smile before she sat down next to them. "I am Cinderfur, and it's nice to meet you Hazelkit!" she glanced at the small she-cat before dipping her head just slightly. Then she turned back to Sandkit. "And what is your name?" she asked him. He seemed a little large to be a kit, but hey. Cinderfur knew from personal experience just how busy Froststar was, so she didn't know when this kit would get his ceremony... but it would be awesome if it were soon and she could possibly get her first apprentice!

Ooc: Sandkit and Amberkit's ceremony is being done right now, but isn't finished so I guess she can be a kit.

Ic: Amberkit bounced out of the nursery and caught a whiff of fish. She turned and saw Hazelkit, Sandkit and a big she-cat with fish. She purred and ran up. "Is there enough for me?" she asked not knowing how much such a huge cat would need to eat.

Hazelkit turned around to see Amberkit. There were so many cats here she didn't know! She scootched over and invited her. "Sure there's plenty."

"S-Sandkit..." The little tom mumbled shyly. He turned to see a familiar kit. Amberkit, right? He waved his tail in greeting and looked back at the fish. "I think there's enough..." That was probably the biggest sentence he'd said in a long time.

"Ok, thanks!" She purred, hooked a small fish out of the middle of the heap, settled down, and started to eat.

Reedheart watched from the shade of the den, his whiskers twitching in amusement. "You look half a queen already, Cinderfur. Never knew you had such a soft spot for kits." he quipped with a smirk. In truth, Reedheart was probably one of the biggest kit lovers in the Clan. A weakness of his, maybe, but he couldn't help it.

The warrior stood and stretched before padding out to meet them by the fresh-kill pile, snagging a silver fish for himself by the tail and dragging it in front of him. "The days grow shorter. We'll have to get as fat as Froststar if we want to get by Leafbare without freezing our fur off." Reedheart, inconspicuously as he could, looked around to make sure their beloved leader hadn't heard that. She had slimmed up considerably the last moon, but the swelling of her belly before that hadn't gone unnoticed. She had been very busy, it was Greenleaf, and the river was swollen with fish. The tom didn't blame her had she eaten too much during their time of plenty.

OOC: "Oh, yes, Cinderfur... half a queen already. You know, you'd be lucky to be in that warm nursery by the time Leaf-fall rolls around. I could help you with that, if you'd like. ;D" *shot*

"Why hello there!" Starclan, these kits were just coming out of nowhere. But, the more the merrier! She was always happy to have company, especially when kits were involved, mainly because of how adorable they were, and when Sandkit finally spoke, she gave him a huge look of happiness. He finally seemed to be a little more confident now. But only when Reedheart padded out of the warrior's den did she move her attention away from the kits. Immediately, she became a little embarrassed by his observation and it showed through a few awkward flicks of her ear. "Well, kits are always just so much fun! Besides, you always talked to me before I became an apprentice," she responded cheerfully and somewhat derisively before giving a small chuckle at Reedheart's next comment about Froststar. It was true that the leader had become unusually large over green-leaf, but Cinderfur really didn't think to question it. "I'm sure that we will do just fine this leaf-bare!"
