Sandpaw's Assessment

Dewclaw had led Sandpaw to the middle of the forest, late into the day. "I want you to catch as much prey as you can before the sun has set completely. I'll be watching your progress, but don't talk to me. Act like I'm not there. Now go!"

So Sandpaw went on her way. It took her sometime to track down some prey.... But she finally came across a mouse.

She had almost lost it, had it not been for her AMAZING hunting skills~.

Her nose shot into the air. "Another mouse..." She paused for a moment. "Aaaannnnd... A frog!"

Rats! She missed the mouse, but at least she caught the frog.

And she went again. Eying three of her favorites: a rabbit, a mouse, and a bird.

2 out of 3 wasn't bad... For a crippled kit! Sandpaw was better than this and she knew it. Four. She was going to get all four. Mice were pretty slow anyways!
