Wonderful Sun

Mosspelt laid on one of the rocks of the Sunningrocks, his black fur soaking up the sun. His eyes remained closed as the sound of the rushing river filled his ears, sounding very calming. He laid in a light sleep, enjoying the newly claimed territory.

Possumtail walked up to the large rocks and leaped onto of one. After taking in the view she saw Mosspelt. "Oh hello Mosspelt." She meowed softly even though it looked like the deputy was asleep. Possumtail found a nice spot and laid down. She didn't plan on trying to sleep. Just enjoying the warmth on her thick fur.

OOC: Sorry not a very good post. Having a hard time with role-play while bearing through the pain of the 6 teeth I just had pulled.

OOC: Oh, it's fine, better than mine. That must hurt...

IC: Mosspelt slowly opened his eyes and sat up slowly. "Hello Possumtail" he said stretching, his joints popping. He hopped down from the rock with a huff and walked over to the river, and started drinking.

"How's the water taste? I would imagine it taste like fish but never tried it, at least not from this spot. Maybe it doesn't taste any different." Possumtail commented as she sat up and began licking a paw.

Mosspelt nodded lifting his head and licking the excess water from his muzzle. "It has a little bit of a weird taste, but water is water." he said sitting down.

Possumtail nodded. "Yes. I guess you're right." She looked around. Hmmm... Something to do instead of just being lazy.

Mosspelt sighed then asked, becoming bored with sitting there "Would you like o go hunting?"

"Sure! I could use the exercise!" Possumtail replied as she hoped down from the rock. "Where shall we start?"

Mosspelt shrugged "Just around here, with the weather today, the prey is going to be good."

Possumtail nodded then scented the air. Mouse. She licked her lips as she stalked it. As she leaped for it she landed on it's back. Once she had killed it she brought it back to where Mosspelt was.

Mosspelt stalked off smelling the air carefully watching his step. He quickly found the scent of mouse and dropped down into a crouch. He slowly stalked forward, claws digging into the ground. Once close enough he watched the mouse for a second then lept. The mouse barely had time to take a breath before Mosspelt was on him. Mosspelt dug his claws into its back and pushed down. After he heard the mouses back snap and it had stopped writhing he picked it up and trotted back and laid it down beside Possumtails mouse.

Mosspelt was exploring the new territory when she spotted Possumtail and umm…Mosspelt.
OOC: This will be confusing. 2 Mosspelts in the same clan.
IC: "Hey! Can I join you?" Mosspelt called out. She raced over to sit beside them. She remembered to put her feet down quietly to not disturb the prey.

OOC: Oh my...this will be confusing, sorry for short post.

IC: Mosspelt nodded "Hello Mosspelt, of course you can join us."
