Four's Adventure

"Will you two quit chating and hurry up or you are going to be left behind and I am not going to be the one that has to come back for you!" Frostkit yowled behind him as he walked twards the east in the direction of the sun. He did not find the sun of any comfort from the Black Figures but at least it would be easyer to see them now or so he thought.

One of the black figure dashed up to the willow, but this one had a recodnisable scent to it. Her scent was of Shadow Clan. She stepped out of the mist, she sleek fur was clean and looked as if it had been groomed just a few minutes ago, and her red eyes gleamed in the morning light. "I will be your guide and protector." she meowed. "I know more of all of your history then you yourselves do." she said through narrowed eyes as she flicked her tail and the mist cleared in a clear path. "Follow me." she said. Then she padded outside and dissapeared along the Trail of No Mist.

Sootkit found everyone chatter at the moment quite annoying as he was trying to think of ways btter than the sun to keep them on the right course as they traveled. If they had to travle during the night they would have no scence of direction at all but either way they all hoped that they would not need to travle during rest hours but it might not be helped later on. "We are headed East if you are to be our guide." He said, "And why should we take you as our guide?"

IC: She narrowed her eyes. "Icepaw has sent me. I know where you need to go, as i have been there many times before." she said. "As for taking me as a guide, you will know by the end of this journey." she said, her eyes ablaze in the early morning light. She scented the air. "We are close." she said. They were on Wind Clan territory, and approaching the barn. "There will be many more challenges after you reach the barn." she said, and padded on.

ic: "I do not see how we are close but you say you are a friend of Icepaw's so I will trust your word and hold you to it. Come Leafkit, Speckledkit, Frostkit, we have been delaying ourselves and must hurry if we are to get any where before night-fall!" Sootkit mewed as he turned to follow the She-cat whom they had taken as their guide

Leafkit, bewildered as she was, hurried along after Sootkit and the mistirious She-cat who Sootkit had appointed our guide. Trotting up to him she whispered, "Um, are you sure we will be safe having her as our guide?" she cast a doughtful look at the She-cat, "I'm a little suspicious of her. Don't you think Icepaw would have said something about sending us a guide?"

Hearing the conversation Frostkit added his opinion, "I have to agree. We can not trust her so soon, but we should let her be our guide for the present. Do not send someone away if they have not done something wrong." He said much more quietly than the other two did. Looking at the She-cat so far she seemed trustable but that was to be desided later.

Speckledkit kept his thoughts to himself for he thaught it quite rude to speak supicions outloud, not that he suspected her of anything but it was quite quier if he did not say the least that she were to show up now. why not earlier? he thought. While he was thinking he swore he saw another shadow flicker by, and thats when he noticed that he had let himself drag behind and hurried to catch up to them.

"Hush now hold your tongues it is not kind or fair to judge her so quickely! She says she is a friend of Icepaw's and I shall take her word for it!" Sootkit said annoyedly for they had no reason to make such quick judgements and it was quite unlike them to do so. He thought they should just keep walking and mabey if they did not strangle each other along the way they might just make it to the Abandoned Barn

OOC: Well, it doesnt take THAT long to get to the barn. Its just accross Wind Clan territory.

IC: Tigerclaw listened to thier false accusations and flicked an ear behind her. She flicked her tail, pointing towards the horizon. "You all must continue on. Follow the Sunset and you will not be lost." she said, then she flicked her tail in farewell, and dissapeared into the mist. And although the kits didnt know it, she was following them, making sure no harm came to them.

OOC2: Yall cant smell her cause the mist! So no sayin ya see or smell or hear me! :evil:

"Well that was weird....." Frostkit said glaring at the spot in the mist where she had disappeared, "I still say she should not be trusted so easly, Sootkit, Trusting everybody will bring great harm to us all. " he said padding further ahead so he could get a glimps of the landscape infront of them, "The land seems to levle out a bit if we go strate twards it we'll pick up speed."

ooc why is there mist/fog in the middle of the day??????

Sootkit stayed silent and walked further on. It was almost noon and it was starting to get warmer outside. He knew they would be coming to the Abandoned Barn by night-fall. So far they had made great progress in their quest, though it was only so far. The journey from where they had been to the Barn wasn't to far so they would approch it soon.

ooc: idk but is like the middle of the day....

Leafit gasped she remembered now, "Oh! Sootkit I remember now! I only know of one at the moment but Chamomile is good for strangth so we might be able to use them for our journey if you want to!" she exclamed excitedly. Yay I rememered it ^^ I feel of some use now after all She thought as she walked with the group the rest of the way to the barn.

"Yea thats great! Thanks Leafkit." Sootkit said happily..........
------By the time the Four kits got to the barn it was a bit past night-fall. They were all tired and hoped that they would be able to have a bite to eat and a warm place to stay for awhile. Their journey was almost over....or so it seemed. They hurried into the barn and were welcomed by a pair they did not excpect to see.
