Surprise, Kits!

Ooc: Got permies from Sleeps Sprry Storm. They were due today.


Ic: Coldheart froze in the middle of Thunderclan camp. "Kestrelflight! Flamestar! Kits... Are coming!" She yowled in pain. Larchkit came running to her mom. "Your having mor?!? Yay! I will have a brother or sister!" Larchkit mewd. "Get... Kestrelflight... and... Flamestar..." Coldheart rasped. She was in pain. Her kits weren't due for moons! She didn't tell flamestar, not yet. But still! They were early! This could be bad... She would be heartbroken if her new kits died. Just the thought of it made a sharp ripple of pain jolt through her.

Kestrelflight was in the medicine den, her eyes tired and droopy. "What is it, Coldheart?" she said flatly.

Coldheart flexd her claws. "Kits... coming... early..." she mewed.

Kestrelflight took action. She went and grabbed the few herbs she had, and rushed out. "Ok. Lie down."

Coldheart immediately did. "Ok." She said, clenching her teeth.

Embershade was there. Totally. She was sitting in the shade eating a mouse when she heard Coldheart's outcry. She jumped to her feet, but settled back down, knowing she would bother the SkyClan queen and the SkyClan Medicine Cat. They had it under control. She sat down again, to continue eating her mouse.

Flamestar rushed to the nursery entrance. "What's happening?! Are they coming? Now?!" He demanded, eyes wide.

Icestream have been watching from a farther awayness.

Coldheart ndded. "Too... early." She said, the pain... She shut her eyes tight when she just couldn't bear it. A sharp jar of pain sliced through her. The first one is comming! she thought. "The... first one... its comming!" She yowled. It was a silvery-white she-cat. A huge pain was lifted off of her. She tried to turn and see her kit, but she was soar. Larchkit loked atcher sister with wide eyes. "She is so tiny!" Larchkit mewed. Coldheart swiped he fluffy tail over her older daughter. "You were then, too." Coldheart mewed. "I was?!?" Larchkit exclaimed. "Yes." Coldhert concluded.

The new kit lay still, breathing gently where she was curled up.

Kestrelflight looked at Flamestar blankly. "Rub the kit the wrong way." she turned back to Coldheart and pressed her paw to the queens stomach. "That's it." Kestrelflight turned and pushed two leaves towards Coldheart. "Here. It'll bring your milk." Her voice was flat, and it was clear she didn't want to be dealing with this right now.

Coldheart nodded. She softly put her new kit close to her stomach. After she ate the leaves, she looked at her kit. "She reminds me so much of Silentfeather..." Coldheart mewed. "Would it be OK if we named her Silentkit, in honor of her Flamestar?" She continued, trying to study her kits fur.

Flamestar quickly began to lick the kit to get it breathing. He looked up at his mate for a moment. "Of course." He meowed before looking back down at his daughter. He lay down and began to lick her more gently, now that she was breathing.

Silentkit pawed up at Flamestar's muzzle, gently.

ic: Flamestar chuckled and gently backed away so her paw slowly slipped off from his muzzle.
